If you change castles to churches and a couple other words, you just described what's been happening in the Catholic Church and Boy Scouts.

If the notion of a well-connected coven of powerful people engaging in the sexual abuse of children and subsequent coverup is alien to you, you simply haven't been paying attention.

i will just say that some things that you may not believe are true, ARE true. people get labeled conspiracy theorists to make something look less than legit.

i have a friend who thinks hydrochloroquine is quack science. i think it works and that there is a concerted effort to marginalize the ones who are promoting the drug.

am i conspiracy theorist?

Right. As with the saying "just because you're paranoid it doesn't mean they're out to get you", you can posit a wack-arse conspiracy theory and there still be lots of dirty stuff going on.

Spirit Cooking is a real thing, enjoyed by many powerful people who would like to keep it on the DL.

If, after seeing what it entails you don't think the fks engaging in it are MENTALLY ILL and capable of doing ANYTHING, then you are simply ignorant.

Except that the Trump family lied about doing it for months, and then - after the "fake" media tracked down the truth - they released emails showing they did exactly what everyone said they did.

Even after they lie and then tell you they did it, you deny it for them. North Korea level detachment from reality.

Satanic pedo cannibals who torture children then drink their
blood and eat babies to harvest adrenochrome(which can be lab produced) does not sound alien to you?

"The truth" has now been dumb-ed down to "his truth" or "her truth".

i don't think he's arguing 2 + 2 = 5

i think he's just being generic to avoid having to make a real argument that can be picked apart

It's so silly when you skip over everything to joust at a windmill.

It does happen. It isn't always glamorous, or as deep, or as dark, as we claim. Sometimes the powerful people involved are Dershowitz or Bill Clinton, flawed human beings who can have their vices for young women used against them by craftier people (Epstein). They're Prince Andrew on a shitty private island with a girl Epstein has had around for years. They're not Prince William in the palace bathing in the blood of children he bought at some underworld market.

The real world is bad enough. Sensationalizing it and expanding it to "make it interesting" does nobody any good. Benghazi is about ineptitude and a lie on a Sunday morning show, not a deep state conspiracy to cover tracks. Russiagate was about Putin trolling to weaken our institutions in the long term, not global collusion to get Trump elected. Etc. etc.

I love the gov't conspiracies the best. They all require a level of competency and coordination that is virtually impossible in a private, well run organization. The same people that can't balance a budget or deliver a letter can coordinate with Aliens and keep it secret.

I mean, I don't expect things like pedo islands, but I certainly think a lot of fricked up shite is possible and it's not surprising when it comes to light.

Pick any manner of perversion and odds are there is someone in the world with the wealth, means, and feeling of invincibility to make it real.

We went too far a few decades ago when we started referring to just implausible conspiracy theories "conspiracy theories" and then beyond that somehow now call woo-woo explanations that don't really posit a conspiracy CT's too.

I wouldn't call belief in HCQ a CT, but there's a relationship between rejection of mainstream science consensus and CT because they notion of epistemic warrant almost requires it to maintain the belief in the face of massive expert consensus.

well different agencies (and different levels of those agencies) have clearly shown different levels of competencies

the CIA has legit installed dictators and overthrown governments. hell, the CIA has been busted selling drugs

there are lots of conspiracy theories that have been proven to be true over time. it's just not ALL of them

Why do people that buy into conspiracy theories suspend all logic and common sense?

Why would the Third Reich take the intelligent, wealthy and in some case loyal German citizens, who would have bought into the idea of national socialism, and murder them by the millions?
Sometimes, actions by individuals and groups transcend logic and common sense.
