used the term “colored people” instead of “people of color”

Good GAWD!!!

Just the hint of this shite drives me crazy.

They have changed the "right way" to address blacks so many times that I gave up way back. I only use 'black' now. Anyone who insists I say anything else can just kiss my arse.

I grew up in the depression. People had real problems to take their attention back then.

The first word I learned was the real n-word, but I was always drawn to proper grammar and spelling, and soon learned that it really meant negro, so that is what I used past 2nd grade. Then, they said it would be better to use 'colored people,' so - being the agreeable person I was - I did that. THEN came the 'black power' movement and they all wanted to be called 'black,' so again I said - OK = it's 'black' then.

Since then, they can call themselves anything they want - and if they don't like 'black,' I'll just begin regressing backward one stage at a time - black -> covered people -> negro - - - -> yep, they'd have earned it.

I wonder what the NAACP’s stance on this issue is.

Emily Mais alleges white employees in the Albemarle County Public School system were placed in a “no-win” situation when they participated in racial equity training.
I mean... that's the goal of "anti-racism". It's a feature, not a flaw for the Wokeheads. "Anti-racism" nothing mroe than a mask for "anti-white".

This isn't about "naughty words". This is about ruining as many white people as possible.

Hope she wins her suit but getting out of this job is the best thing that ever happened to her.
For her, probably. But a loss for the students. She will almost certaintly be replaced by a racist.

Chance that the school board is majority overly-dramatic white people inflicting their over-blown sense of white guilt onto others?

100%.

Wokeism is a religion, and all religions evolve this way. Beliefs that are held as sacred eventually fall out of favor and are considered as heresies.

Of course wokeism is too stupid to have actual beliefs (except the belief that white people are to blame for everything in human history), so they do it with words. Thus, a term that was once used by blacks themselves is now branded as heretical

I hate these 'training exercises'. They are created in an effort to maneuver /manipulate someone into saying something that is offensive to others. They try to stir shite up.

When I was in the Army we learned that everyone was 'green' and to forget your prejudices and to operate as a team.

Later when I taught in the inner city public schools of Baton Rouge it never entered into my mind to call the students a derogatory term, they did that to themselves.

I hate these forums too. I work in education and have had to attend the type "trainings" this administrator attended. I have learned 1 very important lesson is my 30 of work in education, keep your mouth shut in these forums.

These are worse now because they are are virtual and people are posting questions in the Chat, so whatever you post, is in the record. Or even if you verbalize your input, these forums are recorded and again there are records of everything you say.

So I keep my mouth shut, write down any questions or concerns and take it up with my area superintendent off air so to speak.

Slip of the tongue?

A guy with a black eye got on a plane and took his seat. Another guy sat down in the seat next to him and he also had a black eye.

After the plane was in the air, they started up a conversation, and the first guy asked the second guy, "I notice that you have a black eye. How did you get it?"

The second guy said, "It was a slip of the tongue. You see, I was buying my ticket, and the ticket agent was a very attractive lady with a huge rack. Instead of saying, "I'd like a ticket to Pittsburgh, I told her I'd like to picket for TITSburgh." She hit me in the eye."

The second guy then asked the first guy, "You have my story, now tell me how you got a black eye."

The first guy said, "Mine was also a slip of the tongue. You see, this morning I was sitting at the kitchen table and I meant to ask my wife, "Please pass the Wheaties.". What I accidently said is, "You ruined my life you fricking bitch." So here I am..."
