Great read. 3, 4, , and 5 SD brains are scary. I’ve had a 3 work for me before. He was a 10x programmer.
He could seriously deliver code 10x faster and better than anyone else. After the first year I had him, in his review (forced by corporate) I simply asked him “how much do I have to pay you to hold onto you” and went and got that much for him.

It’s a long running joke on this site that calling something stupid while making they’re/their/there errors deserves to be called out. Not only did he do that, he got the “to/too” wrong.
