Trying to take the focus away from Trump or Biden or some specific person or party.

If you had to convince a person from a group that would normally vote blue all the time such as a minority, single mother, gay/trans, urban dweller, government worker, muslim, someone on welfare... why conservative policies work even for them... what is the best pitch?

You won't ever be able to convince folks if they believe this. They have to experience poor policies themselves to be turned off.

I dated a very liberal cocktail waitress. I remember telling her that when I get to keep more of my money (less tax), I will go out and tip you more. Everyone would do the same.

Best evidence of that is when people get their tax returns back, they immediately go out and inject it into the economy

Seriously, though, what you are suggesting is virtually impossible.

First of all, the word “conservative” to too many people means unchecked “free market” capitalism and little besides.

Contrasted with the modern left, I simply stick to American ideals. Freedom of thought and speech beyond just lip service, A nation of moral laws based on a higher order, suspicion of government and power, state’s rights supersede federal control, an empowered citizenry with the right to protest and bear arms, an electoral system protected against mass capital from foreign agents or parties with no connection to this country. Basically the founding fathers drew up the plan I largely hold to...if we’ve traded that for what we’re now embracing, we deserve what history has repeatedly shown is coming to us.

Conservative how? The two major parties are left wing in the vast majority of their policies. If the Democrats dropped the gun grab crap they would get 70% of the vote. If the Republicans were fiscally responsible the past 30 years we would have a very different looking political landscape right now. Honestly, the last good president was Coolidge and it is hard to sell someone on conservatism based on the accomplishment of a president from 100 years ago.

Well if you turn on the TV 95% of the population falls into one of those categories lol!

Seriously though, I have always believed conservative values should work with just about anyone when applied right and in context. There is no reason we can't get 25% of the black vote based on my experiences with black people and how they view things.

Financial conservatism is dead. Everybody is stealing tax dollars and our politicians are happy to oblige.

Rob them of all their money and just before exiting the elevator, toss a few bucks to them crying on the floor along with a note, "Welcome to Socialism!"

Without real ill-content, government is influenced by it's constituents in to thinking they have to protect us of everything. Therefore, it grows and grows and it has to be kept in check. Conservatives, although not perfect, are the best at keeping that as a top priority and in check.

Yeah they would have been obliterated politically. People say they want fiscal conservatism; but they mostly don't mean it.

I've been vocal pointing out the media and progressive hypocrisy. It's easy to find and provide evidence that people can see for themselves. For example, this week's censorship and coverage compared to this summer.

Make it about the ideas of rights and freedom.

Personally I don't know how anyone, democrat leaning or not, isn't scared to death of the parler ban. Even a few of my liberal friends admit it's a dangerous slope.

maybe before Trump

Trump was anti-free market and it's a big part of how "conservatives" identify themselves now

Really? That’s not at all what I think of.

I think religious/family values.

Not saying you’re wrong.
