Well this is the product of the participation trophy generation who doesn't deserve shite and still gets it.

The Dems are Globalists and believe that “all” people have the same Rights as citizens. That is why they reject a cleansing of the voter rolls and deportation. No deportation equals Democratic Socialism as the ideological demographic shifts towards the Party which will subsidize their basic life needs out of the common Treasury. A Treasury which is obviously on its way to fiscal insolvency.
Voting cannot solve this as voting IS the problem. The Founders designed the Constitution to constrain Democracy within “God-given, inalienable Rights “ and it has always been the gun which created and defended said Ideology.
The only thing to be decided is which Party/Ideology holds formal power when the inevitable ‘collapse’ comes. Predictions for that is like predicting who would win another Tigers v Rebs showdown.

Part of the growth in the disease is also time. The people who genuinely appreciated what Marxism was are aging. Plenty of instructors infecting modern campuses were in elementary school or earlier when the Berlin Wall fell. Youth generally don’t listen to people making boogeymen out of things they don’t even see

The independents turned from the democrats in 24. The thing to watch midterms and the next presidential election is turnout and that problem will always hit the republican side harder. It's a big part of why an inexperienced Senator no one outside of an Oprah fan had ever heard of suddenly cruised to easily elected twice and it will likely be the reason the MAGA experiment dies.
I'm not sure if apathy rules or independents decide to turn left in spite, but there will be a swing. Whether any lessons are learned will determine how much purchase socialism gains nationwide.

The country is doomed. A president from the same party has not succeeded a president since 1988.
No matter what happens the country will turn back the other way by the next election. Nobody has a solution for the country that can be implemented in 2 years, which is what is required to satisfy the voters. Nobody is running to curb the growth in spending.
