You ignore there were 2 better candidates prior to the general.

As usual, you miss the point, even when it's explained to you in 2nd grade language

Why would adding more regulations to that be better?

Why is making the market less free better?

Again, you're doing the Leftist meme here, using their arguments

When you expect the voter to accept you as a candidate just because you have a R next to your name, don't be surprised when the electorate starts to reject you by voting for the opponent or staying home. Same holds true if you have a D next to your name. In places like Texas and Kansas, the Republican wants your vote simply because he's a Republican......nothing else overly compelling. Why should someone vote for Paxton or Marshall if both are shite overall? In that case, staying home may be preferred than continuing to entrench them in power....same thing in Maine with Collins.

It's not so much the like of the Democrat opponent as it is the dislike of the Republican running as well as how they personally see what is going on with the President and the Congress overall. You may not be enamored of the prospect of Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker, but you aren't all that jazzed up about what the Republicans have, and right now you have a record on them that you know you don't like.

You mean the citizens of Texas chose to run Paxton? Well, then they should support him then after all they made that decision, correct? There is no other alternative

It's another panic from the moderates due to the press' over inflation of Talarico's odds. He has zero chance of winning.

You need go go back to what was being discussed

quote:

There are more policy options than (1) Trump (2) The worst version of the Left that can be described.

quote:

No matter how hard anyone might try to pretend it away, general elections for Senators and House Members are basically always a binary choice.

quote:

This ignores things like primaries.

It's the same song and dance as when morons in my state elected Dud Jones over Roy Moore. Roy Moore would have been the best Senator in the country, but instead we got some loser who worked against Trump's 1st term the entire time.

Pre-planning? The admin pushed this ideas months into the conflict

And it won't work, like most Leftist policies

You seem to have a poor understanding of what you said. Willingness to surround yourself with people who disagree with you is a sign of a good leader, not the opposite.

Keeping fuel prices affordable while war is being decided “won’t work” but being handcuffed by economic factors has worked swimmingly lol good to know!

That is interesting spin of what I said

I understand why you're trying to do this though

There's a reason why we didn't implement the policy and it's because it won't work. Also, we rushed into this situation because of a threat of a potential nuclear Iran in a matter of days. If we started an international export ban in the month leading up to the conflict in order to store our diesel, in theory, we could have created a supply overload potentially, but it would have completely signaled. We were about to start war with Iran. It does not make sense within the context of how we went to war.

But, my specific focus has been on the actual policy implemented months into the war.

War with Iran was a bad choice. These are the consequences of making a bad choice. Trying to spend them as some sort of inevitability ignores that the only reason they exist is due to the aforementioned bad choice. And these effects were not secret or unknown prior to choosing the bad path.

No, it's exactly what you said. Here's the quote:

quote:

Within Trump's own admin there are multiple voices. For an example look at the diesel export ban fiasco from yesterday.

Trump or one of his advisors came up with a retarded plan.

Ultimately, those with better policies and economic understanding had to wrestle Trump away from the retardation.

This is the sort of lack of awareness we've all come to expect from you.

Socialism and Communism have killed tens of millions of people. That's not hyperbole, that's fact. It has never succeeded anywhere it has been implemented.

Yes, that would be a huge change from what we have now. Correct.

If the polling is off and it’s actually 30% that’s still really high.

When Bernie ran against Hillary in the 2016 primary and was doing really good that should have been a sign for both parties on what direction the country was heading. The the left part of the Democrat party accepted it and started changing. The middle and right side of the party is stuck with it. A lot of the right side of the Democrats are now independents. A lot of the independent former Democrats voted for Trump. Now Trump is driving these Independent’s back to the Democratic Party and they are accepting the Democrat platform.

It’s only going to get worse

Well, its his own fault. If he would have just concentrated on running America and its issues, he'd have a 40 pt lead.

Guy lied to us all about wars, mocked others, then made our own prices unbearable by doing EXACTLY what he swore he wouldnt.
Indont get how a single man, who supports trump like I did, could even almost agree what hes done in the Iran shite. Its an absolute disaster and now will make him the biggest lame duck of all lame ducks ever.

The dumbest man alive would pull out if there today, win the midterms, and go back the next day, if it weere needed for some idiotic reason
