A temporary diesel ban until the war is resolved isn’t a leftist policy. It’s what Trump should have done in the very beginning to give the US more leverage in negotiations. We have no leverage now because fuel prices are becoming unbearable. The War in Iran would be a non issue if gas prices were 2,75$ a gallon. Enforcing a permanent fuel export ban would be a Leftist policy. Unless we are still pretending the rest of the World operates on “free market” principles?
