Too many immigrants, Marxist dominated colleges, universities, high schools, and elementary schools. Then you have an ever increasing lazy society not understanding just how destructive socialism/communism really is.

They think it will bring equality but it will only create more poverty and worse living conditions like crime, starvation, homelessness, broken infrastructure. Etc.

This rise to socialism didn’t just begin in the last 6-8 months. lol what?

Everything you mentioned to explain that stat were events that occurred within the last few months.

It'd not surprising. We effectively have an international corporate oligarchy running our nation. We've sold our industry overseas and the middle class bullshite jobs are fading. Nearly every employment sector is being gently warned that AI will replace most if not all the need for workers. Meanwhile, foreign workforce continues to eat away at the remaining jobs. We have corporate monopolies dominating many sectors of our economy. Our press is almost fully owned by a small handful of them. Stock margins dictate everything, resulting in poor service, ethics and workforce treatment in the name of profit. Investor groups have contributed to inflating the housing market beyond the reach of most younger citizens. And now we're in yet another middle eastern war, fighting a proxy war with Russia and energy prices are skyrocketing.

This is what happens. People like to act like capitalism can't grow fangs and become a problem, but it does. And when it does, eventually another extremist reaction will answer. That's what you're seeing and if this country doesn't change something, it will eventually come to power.

The electorate ISN’T ignorant of the fact that the politicians who promise them “we will represent you first” always seem to consider their donors first.
