The law requires the US to admit a certain number of legal citizens per year. This is why this thread is so absurd. The people who immigrate here legally are not our problem. They jump through a lot of hoops to become legal citizens. Most of these people have a very deep love for the country after going through this arduous process since it’s very easy to just cheat and come here illegally, or was until January 20, 2025.

I have no problem with those who have applied, did the necessary paperwork, have been vetted, waited, took the tests and done it the right way.I think legal immigration and assimilation is good thing, it is those that cross the border expecting handouts that I have a problem with.
