It would’ve been riding the wave like women’s soccer. They wouldn’t be profitable but many of them would’ve gotten sponsorship deals. Contracts would’ve come up.

And this is the crazy thing. The WNBA has a chance to make a really solid womens league (regardless of profit or your personal opinion) that is a motivator for young ladies of all backgrounds to participate in sports and learn teamwork and build to something.
And they're throwing it all in the trash to pursue this crazy dream of letting a handful of trans people ruin it. Decades of work to get a womens league together being sacrificed.

"A hundred retired or lesser NBA players"....there are 30 G League teams, using 10 players per team as an average. The average G League player earns $45,000 . The average pay per player in the NBA is $500,000. Safe to assume there will be more than a few G League players wanting to jump at that large of a pay increase.

I do not believe that is true. NHL salaries are near those of MLB. Way more by far than WNBA. Those hockey players would not be making $$$$K/yr without television viewership.

The management of the league needs to be by serious men. Team ownership needs to majority men. That's the only way to keep women from imploding the damn thing. The sex appeal is in the crapper and desperately needs improvement. They should import foreign women for this league.
