Because my wife has tried to send them countless recipes to use the pounds of ground beef and ground Buffalo they get monthly. They give the Buffalo away. My wife has offered to spend hours with them to show them recipes and how to cook and meal prep.
They get regular USDA food bank shite AND Indian food bank stuff from the tribe. And lots of it gets wasted. The wife won't cook.
If you're an Indian with a tribal card in Oklahoma and you're poor, you get so much food it would make your head spin. And lots goes to waste.

i paid 21,000 dollars last year in social security, 12000 dollars in medicare last year and 50,000 dollars in income tax. by the way just 5 years ago i paid 12,000 dollars to get the same maximum benefit 3,600 dollars a month that i paid 21,000 dollars to get this last year so hears what you're gonna do biotch.

Regular people may need a food bank when exceptional situations arise: an unforeseen medical emergency, unexpected bill, etc etc. it’s normal to need some sort of help from time to time. Not everyone has credit cards.

These are not necessarily programs to actually feed people, but federal welfare for big ag.

Elon has said that part of the cutting process involved cutting too deep in some places. This fu ding can be restored if it's determined to be needed. It's part of the plan.
