There is NO good explanation to why a food bank like Food Bank Of Central & Eastern North Carolina Inc needs that money

Farmers in Missouri get grants for these programs and I’m sure farmers do in your state too. The program is not just for the food bank or schools it’s for farmers too.

Farmers in Missouri work with Department of Elementary and Secondary Education(DESE)

Per the CEO of that food bank:

$2 million in federal funds the nonprofit would have received would go directly to farmers for the purchase of fresh food

I will say it again. They have a haul of 234 million. They pay ten people 15 million.

Frick those 10 that leach off what should be a charity.

Read the constitution and pay special mind to the 10th amendment.

Bunch of people in this thread that were up in arms about FEMA's treatment of NC after the hurricane, but now with Trump it's "frick these people on welfare".

That's as far as I read.

I don’t care. Just pointing out a fact.

I knew about Trump a long time before his tv show, most of you weren’t even thought about yet.

.

This is a lie.

She neglected to mention how much gets skimmed off the top by the executive leadership of the nonprofit.

And the portion that gets kicked back to politicians in the form of campaign donations.

Exercise specific enumerated powers such as regulating interstate commerce, maintaining a military, levying taxes or duties, coining money, and creating federal courts. It’s supposed to handle matters that individual states cannot effectively address

Read Article 1, section 8 of the constitution.

North Carolina can fund its own food banks if they need it

This is the issue with SS and why it won’t ever be eliminated.

IMO we should first remove all fraudulent payments going to dead payment or otherwise.

Then take everyone who is alive, look at how much they paid into SS, and how much of that they’ve received, and cut a check for the balance to refund them their money. Then eliminate the program

Regular people do utilize food banks.

Of course I do, it’s called Publix. I make deposits there 3-4 times a week.
