This is more of a states rights issue and Congress may have Constitutional issues getting involved

A democrat as POTUS, without mail in ballots and voting machines, will be a long time coming. People forget the democrats have had to change laws to allow women, felons, and illegal immigrants to vote in order to get elected.

Society, in the future, is going to be real uncomfortable with the new comforts free and open elections offer in America. They will be uncomfortable because they will realize the comforts have always been there for them as Americans.

In other words, it could be 50 - 60 years before a democrat gets elected POTUS!!

Can we get some actual laws passed?

EO’s aren’t enough.

I've seen this movie before. And before you get excited...

1. Some fed court throws it out.
2. GOP congress won't say anything. Won't go to bat. Won't do shite.

You need congress to pass stuff like this but our side has no balls. I enjoy all the EO'ing because I think our GEOTUS has good intentions and genuinely wants to change the system. It's too bad that our OWN SIDE doesn't share his enthusiasm.

I doubt he can get rid of mail-in fraud and voting machines through an EO.

I believe he will do it in the end. It's pretty easy to understand why he will if you've been keeping up with the news of Arizona and Georgia. Not to mention that Elon Musk shut down the servers in 2024 that were used in 2020 after he was briefed on how they did it in 2020.

60 vote threshold in Senate. Dems will never vote for it.

If a state decides to cheat on voting, is it a states rights issue?

This is so stupid, has he learned nothing from 2020? Old people love voting from home.

This applies to Bernegger 100% at the moment. Between this and his dozens of "FEC lawsuits" for "smurfing", he's tweeting up a storm with very little reality backing him right now

Even with your questionable framing, yes.

We don't have national elections in the US.

Congressional elections? Limited within states
Senate elections? Limited within states
Presidential elections? You vote for the EC within a state.

Even the Amendment process is focused through state-based or stat-elected reps. There is no national referendum.
