To DJT, stock market = economy. Which makes sense, he’s been extremely wealthy for so long that money truly is just a number for him and not really tangible

As we get closer to mid terms I have no doubt he will pull out all the stops he can to get the market as high as possible

How that plays with the block of voters who are paycheck to paycheck and have zero interest in the market remains to be seen

FYI for anyone not digging into the video, it’s from 2017 and the Dr in question decided took the stance that all vaccines are bad. He also believes in hypnotherapy for weight loss instead of diet and exercise, and promotes a lot of Chinese herbal remedies.

I’m guessing the tweet and OP wanted everyone to think k it was about COVID

If the country was mostly made up of a well informed population that was gainfully employed and understood the implications of everything, I would agree with you 100%

Unfortunately the majority these days couldn't find Iran on a map if you gave them 10 chances, doesn't know or probably care what's really going on, and only cares about how much it takes for them to fill up the car for their DoorDash gig

The destruction of the working middle class has created such a gulf between "I'm ok with higher prices because I know it's for the good of all of us" and "frick Trump, I can't afford shite right now" that no amount of good reasoning will change the second groups minds.

Maybe so, but Girls Academy and MLS Next are what drives them these days, and the kids that are shooting for that level are going there no matter what

Flight is the ones hurt the most by an expanding Force club. They already lose the top kids to either GA/MLS, and Force has been able to sell the 07 girls success to attract the next level of players. I don't think Force losing access to Lamar Dixon was a random act or just because of "field capacity". Flight doesn't have that many teams these days, they absolutely could have worked it out if they wanted to

Started out as a one team club several years ago. Turned into the best girls team in the state and one of the best in the region. But over time it’s morphed from one team training in his property to 7 teams actively hosting matches.

Once you install HS level lighting, it’s not hard to imagine the neighbors are pissed

That tweet about the Polish ships is fake, they aren't even built yet. And the names mean Waffle, Herring and Cake in English, which is another giveaway it might not be real

It’s not physically closed by a naval blockade or sunken barriers. It’s closed strictly due to the fear that if your ship flys a flag the Iranians don’t like, they might throw some rockets or drones at it

Seems like a lot to ask these ships to just head on through based on Iran pinky swearing not to fire.

My daughter started playing soccer at 5, and it quickly became her passion in life and has continued all the way to her college days. As such, I've seen a tremendous amount of USWNT games over the years. I can't put into words how much more enjoyable it is now that Rapinoe and her "justice warrior" crew are all retired and out of the squad.

I realized the other day I have no idea the sexual or political orientation of almost any player on the team now, other than the ones recently who have gotten married and had kids. They just show up, play soccer and win/lose.

Of course, this has made the team much less popular in may circles of fans, it's one of those sports that the fanbase needs to feel like the players are "one of them" in order to watch.

Right or wrong, the GLOBAL oil market drives the price of fuel in the US.

Next up will be price increases on fertilizer, which will also negatively affect the global food market and thus negatively affect prices here in the US as well
