He told Rex to step aside last Friday. Keep trying!

Your own link, which you obviously didn't bother to read, says Trump asked for Tillerson's resignation last Friday.

So what does Tillerson's comment made yesterday have any relevance to "funny timing"?

Idiot.

Tillerson was a disaster. We don't have an ambassador to South Korea. He thought he could cut the staff at State and nothing bad would happen.

At least he didn't get any ambassadors killed unlike some former Sec. State.

Him and Toddy could go toe to toe with CelticProg and Rex in a sky scream-off.

What was wrong with Tillerson that Trump didn't know prior to his appointment?

Chill.

The context was pretty clearly a joking one at the timing of this news with the Russia comment, not that the OP or any news people actually think it was because of the comment.

Anyone who really believes it was because he condemned Russia for a chemical weapon assassination in England; however, should be rightly ridiculed

Bye Globalist

The brilliance of the Poli Board. They object to a Secretary of freaking State on the ground that he is a “globalist.”

Do you know what the State Department does?

I support the President, but my goodness, there is a ton of turnover in this administration. Particularly for it to be just over a year into his Presidency.

I understand why Trump made the move here, though.

I like Tillerson, and at a company like Exxon, where he can make and absorb mistakes within a corporate environment, mistakes and an aggressive attitude can get things done. It was worth experimenting with, but ultimately, his style is not diplomatic.

He obviously had been unleashed to speak freely about Russia. He was fired Friday and still went on a diplomatic foreign trip.

The OP absolutely does believe that based on his posting history.

So, you chill.

Represents the interests of the United States across the globe. Globalists want to represent the interests of the globe in the United States. Can you perceive the difference, low-TBoy?

Tillerson says ex-spy's poisoning in UK 'clearly came from Russia,' vows it 'will trigger a response'

So, was he speaking for the US Gov't when he said this yesterday?

Will the US still respond to the attack?

I wonder if it was a disagreement in foreign policy that prompted this separation? And if so, what was that disagreement? Would love to know the answers.

The only real objection to Tillerson was that he might use State to further his own international financial and corporate interests and possibly cozy up to Russia because of their similar interests. It’s unclear whether that happened because Tillerson has functioned quietly.

But the single largest impediment to proper international relations hasn’t been Tillerson. The problem is Trump.
