You mean shite like this?
Now today this ain't possible but as we get further along in genetics and cloning it could be. Is this the problem we have to solve to truly turn a man into a woman?

My thoughts are them having bearded dude in a dress for opening ceremony didn't do the boxer any favors

Imane Khelif was born a woman, raised as a girl, has a vagina, has never had a penis, competed and acted as a girl her entire life. Don’t take my word for it
She was not born a woman. She was born a male with undeveloped genitalia and other issues and was assigned female at birth. Let’s be clear on that since the first sentence in your attack on people is entirely wrong.
Secondly, you are right that she is not transgender. She was assigned female at birth.
However her Y chromosome and significantly high testosterone levels give her an unfair advantage over women actually born as women.
The question should be one of fairness in this case rather than the transgender garbage people are spewing.

a minimal amount of research

Basically she failed a test last year that said she had too many XY chromosomes, but she is a woman and always has been, she’s just a masculine woman.
At least if you are going to try and argue, make statements that are correct. You dont’t have too many XY chromosomes. You are either genetically a male with an XY pairing or you are a female with an XX pairing. There is an extremely rare XXY set, but that is entirely different. While chimeras do exist where they have some cells with both, the presence of an XY in any form generally means male biologically speaking.
Again, even if I was on your side in this argument, I’d be embarrassed with your idiotic efforts to explain this.

Klinefelter XXY - which is an extra X chromosome allowing him super testosterone levels (George Washington had this)
You have this backwards. The Klinfelter individual has shriveled up nuts and low testosterone and probably man boobs and love handles.
I’m not sure how you can state something like George Washington having this when there was no DNA testing back then. Hell back then they didn’t even realize microbes exist and they had no concept of genetics.

Is it fair that people without these genetic features should complete against him?
No it’s not fair. Life isn’t fair. It’s just not feasible to have a special classification for sports competition for people with genetic anomalies that affect and extremely small segment of society.

This Algerian boxer stuff is what’s wrong with social media, she’s always been a woman....with testicles and elevated testosterone.
I'm totally fine with a hermaphrodite division but that was a completely unfair match.

I agree. The very few women who are intersex were dealt a shitty hand
Intersex people aren't women.
People with XY aren't women.

how long results take?

why just them?
I think it's pretty quick, but could use input from someone really knowledgeable, genetics isn't my specialty.
As to why just them?
Well, could test every lady. I don't see issue.
Also, in looking at these "women" it's pretty clear they might be dudes. Shoulders, facial feeters etc.
I realize a quantitative measure is needed as opposed to subjective however.

I'm in 100% agreement with you on everything and was waiting for someone to call that guy out on the "some" xy chromosome nonsense.
Your last statement got me thinking tho.
I agree we can't have special classifications for people with genetic anomalies, but that begs the question of where does Khelif fight? The men? Not at all? Honest question.

This is the determining biological predictor of sex. XY = MAN, XX = WOMAN
quote:
Females have two of the same kind of sex chromosome, and are called the homogametic sex. Males have two different kinds of sex chromosomes, and are called the heterogametic sex.
And you want us to ignore that because the media tells you different?
How many XY Chromosome "women" have you dated?

The men. Then it will soon be not at all.
Posted on 8/2/24 at 1:29 pm to GrizzlyAlloy
Neither. It’s the only competitively fair answer. Sucks for the person with the genetic condition but it’s the only equitable outcome for the biological XX women competitors.
