Mission accomplished, broke their backs, destroyed their military, no chance at nuclear weapons. Job well done with a minimal loss of American lives.

Iran has emerged from a 3 month war with the world’s most powerful military not only survived, but with much to celebrate.

That wasn’t war. That was not much more than saber rattling on our part.

If we really treated it like a war Iran wouldn’t exist anymore.

Reading the “peace deal” treaty line by line
Huh?

How did you get your hands on a copy of a treaty or “peace deal” that doesn’t exist?

Then they were fools. We shouldn’t mind the sacrifice but recent history has shown we would.

As far as we know, Iran will be in a position to continue working on a nuke. The MOU doesn’t resolve anything.

And to somehow compare NATO to this fiasco with Iran is nonsensical. It’s just a
reflexive response with no apparent thought…

Did America have knowledge of 9-11 with all its resources?

Except, despite your best efforts, come November this “debacle” will result in not a single vote changing from R to D.

Iran is a mercurial hellhole. No clear leadership -which we created -coupled with fanatics that want to erase Israel off the map creates a gargantuan game of wackamole .

We either need to walk away or continue fighting but I can’t see any way to overturn the “ regime” without troops on the ground.

Do you also care about human rights in Saudi Arabia, North Korea, China, Russia, Congo, Somalia, Ethiopia, Nicaragua, et al? Should we go to war with all of these countries?

I tend to agree. This last week indicates that the blockade would not work in time and that was the last real hope to end this without an invasion.

Not even in the same ballpark

Carter got the only true peace deal in the Middle East after WW II and Allies gave Israel to the Jews. When I was young it was Egypt and Israel but since Carter, they have had peace.

I lived through Carter as an adult and see the reality, not the distorted history. Fan of both Nixon and Carter and sad both were POTUS in the 70's oil shocks and neither kowtowed to the media or DC Cliff Dwellers and Beltway Boys.

If you want to drain the DC swamp, look to Nixon and Carter on who the real swamp is, not more recent POTUS who are in bed with them.

Sure it did, prior knowledge of everything is not a guarantee. Bad actors only have to be right once, Israel or as my statement implies the people being attacked have to be correct all the time. You implied that yourself by saying that Israel abilities are able to detect but “ failed “ on 7th
