Trump tweeted this 15 weeks ago.

Reading the “peace deal” treaty line by line, this is anything but surrender. Iran has emerged from a 3 month war with the world’s most powerful military not only survived, but with much to celebrate.

Iran resumes reaping billions in oil sales.

Iran maintains sovereignty over the Strait.

Iran delays “negotiations” in its nuclear program (which even Trump admits would only halt its program for 15-20 years if eventually negotiated.)

Next to Carter, I challenge you to show me a bigger foreign policy debacle.

Not sure how sound his judgement is.

There is no "peace deal."
There is an agreement to talk about one.

Are you not a lawyer?

Further, the agreement to even talk about a deal is back under pressure: US-Iran talks postponed as Vance pulls out of Switzerland trip

When setting the early stages for negotiation, should he have said that, " we won't bomb and kill you and wreck your economy."

Can you make a credible argument that we are better off now than we were in January?

The current state isn’t even half as good as the position we had with the Obama Iran deal.

I am at an absolute loss for what this administration was thinking or expecting from this war.

The admin didn’t expect Americans to value gas prices over human rights.

A terrorist state that's killed hundreds of American soldiers and who's leadership had publicly shouted death to America has had its nuclear program delayed a generation?

Yep. Big fat L for us.

We should improve the situation by giving them nukes, since that's better...

If you believe the reports that they were weeks away from a nuclear bomb then we are better off having pushed that back a few years.

None of us know how good the intel is, including the media.

Having them find out that their leaders and their families and friends aren't safe from being killed at any given moment is probably a good thing.

Egypt keeps them walled in? Jordan, Iraq, Saudi, Syria refuse to accept them? Why? In no small part, because they teach, and preach genocide.

What are your thoughts?

America was never going to support a multi-year, bloody war and to get "unconditional surrender", it would take that commitment or nukes. And if we drop nukes, WW3 begins. It was the height of hubris, arrogance and bad judgement to even start this war. Now - as usual - the taxpayers will pay the cost of political idiocy.

Yes. Iran is now decades away from a nuclear weapon instead of months. They have no air defenses and no navy.
Their first and second string leaders are dead.

(The current state isn’t even half as good as the position we had with the Obama Iran deal. )

Wrong again. Obama paid them to not develope nukes and it did not work. They kept enriching and were close to a bomb.

(I am at an absolute loss for what this administration was thinking or expecting from this war.
)

To save the world from being blackmailed by terrorist who have a nuke.
I hope this helps.

Americans on the whole have never given a shite about the rights of women, Christians, and gays in the Muslim world.

How driven are Americans by their wallets?

There has been this huge outcry...and rightfully so...over Somali fraud in Minnesota, because that hits Americans in the wallet.

How much of an outcry has there been over the genital mutilation of girls in Minnesota?

A UN survey found that 99% of all girls in Somalia undergo female genital mutilation. Are people so naive as to thin that they brought every aspect of their culture with them to Minnesota EXCEPT that one? There should be no doubt that it happens routinely. Yet no one has ever made an effort to investigate that. It should be.
