Yes. There is a town in Martha's Vineyard called Oak Bluffs that has been a popular vacation destination for affluent black people for decades.

Well, in their (incorrect and ungrounded) view of the sociology, that white flight created the hood, so more white flight will create more hood.

A fortress has defenses against invaders, like high walls.
Modern cities have interstates and highways connecting the “fortresses” directly to the hood.

At what point do we expect these so-called "left behind" communities to take responsibility for themselves? Or do they want us to draw the conclusion that they can't survive without productive - mostly white people?

This is why national divorce is probably unrealistic.

I couldn't put an exact number on the demographics, and it's been twenty years since I lived there. There were non-whites that lived there. Basically two different demographics. The affluent and the people that worked for them, regardless of race/ethnicity/nationality.
When I first moved there, I was 18, and working as an electrician and then got on a fire dept. I had a basement apt in a nice house, and my landlord who lived in the house was black. Nice woman, divorced, had two sons that lived with her. Right next door there were easily 30+ South Americans all living in an equally nice house. The neighborhood was majority white and "nice" but it was the ghetto. Vehicle break-ins, including mine, gunshots, occasionally a home break-in. After I put the FD sticker on my 4runner, I could park it on the street unlocked and not worry about it, especially after 9/11.
One of my coworkers at an electrical company was an illegal from Poland. His wife was also illegal, but they had two kids here. On 9/11, he bought two American flags and put one on our work van and the other on his personal truck.
TLDR - IMO, the difference between the Hamptons and the supposed "White Fortresses" is the mix of the affluent/lower class isn't really so divided by race/ethnicity/nationality.

Ascension Parish (right across the border from St. George) is one of the fastest growing parishes in the state. Some have argued that this is "white flight" from people moving out of Baton Rouge. However, the percentage of caucasian residents has shrunk by 5% in the past 10 years. It's just everyone wanting to move out of EBR, not just white people, trying to find safe communities, better property value, and better schools. The left throws "race" as a cause of everything, and it's blatantly false, the media still runs with it.

I would say honestly that white America has bent over backwards to support people who aren’t like them, but now it’s more of, white America is tired of subsidizing people who DON’T like them no matter how much arse kissing they do.

South Africa had a lot of the same thing.
The difference is that the whites are in the minority there and being chased out. It is being attempted here but not quite working yet.
