Why not direct your anger at the Muslim countries who won’t let the Palestinians in on refuge status? The fact that Egypt, Syria and all these other countries are continuing to close their borders is very telling

Since the beginning of time.

Oh, so you're just hopelessly naive.

There's no carpet bombing going on, stooge. These are targeted strikes using precision bombs. My recommendation to any Gazan would be, if you've seen fedayeen in your hood, or rockets coming up from any where around you . . . now would be the time to bug the frick out.

Even IF they are hiding amongst the civilians (in one of the most densely populated regions of the world) when did it become OK to take out the civilians as well just to get the terrorists?

They gave weeks of heads up telling people to leave. Legitimate military targets are legitimate even if there is collateral damage as a response to an attack that has killed a ton of Israeli civilians.

quote:

Total BS. They need to stop the killing now otherwise they are only sowing more seeds of hate and anti-Israel sentiments with every innocent life lost

Disagree. Civilian Palestinians support Hamas.

The allies did it in WWII, and while bombing is a modern form of warfare the killing of civilians has been an unfortunate consequence of war from the beginning of time. Maybe Hamas shouldn't have started a war. But then we know they don't care about their own people.

This board makes the excuse that you have to genocide a people to kill some "terrorists" amongst them. Like Ukraine, they try to ignore the atrocities done before a useful date. They don't care if it's hypocritical, just trying to mask the reality of blind hatred and immoral wish for death to all muslims.

But in a war of retribution, it's all on the table. We wiped two Japanese cities off the map in WW2.

Us being wrong does not make the Jewish state right..

I believe they want extension of hostilities for the sake of the hostilities themselves and the treachery involved with pilfering MASSIVE funds from nations around the world..

sort of like our CIA

pretty much

pure evil - or more accurate the ongoing extension of pure evil that has plagued earth for over a century THIS TIME

NO THANKS!

Hamas only understands one thing and that is strength and overwhelming strength. The people will need to rise up and understand it is Hamas that has reigned this down upon them. Hamas has to be totally defeated and demoralized completely, which is what it took for Japan to finally give in.

Agree with you, but it is good to remember that Hamas (and the rise Islamic extremism) is a SYMPTOM……. and we had best focus on the root cause and the home front.

Those who do not learn from past mistakes……

Seems like the polls say that Palestinian civilians overwhelmingly back Hamas and this behavior of hiding amongst them. It is like a drug dealer's girlfriend knowingly keeping drugs and gun cache at her house and complaining when a swat team comes around. She is cool with the money he throws her. Not so much with the repercussions.

Was it OK for the US to kill 200,000 Japanese civilians?

The answer is unequivocally "YES"!

Why? Because the Japanese military had been soundly beat back for 2 years and refused to surrender. Even under threat of a US invasion to mainland Japan, they refused to surrender. Even after the first nuke was dropped, they refused to surrender.

Japan was willing to sacrifice their entire civilian population.

Lol. . I am faaaar from Liberal. . . but you nut jobs think that anyone who even mildly disagrees with any facet of extreme right wing ideology is a RINO.
A professor of mine, William Samelson, was a holocaust survivor. He was a kind and gentle man despite the horrors he witnessed and experienced with the loss of his family. That you apply a political label ("extreme right wing ideology") to the simple fact that evil exists and must be combated by good men, is a statement of your small-minded psychosis.

Stop being a pussy. Sometimes people need to die. It's called war. It's terrible, regretable, but an unfortunate reality.

Evil exists.

Good men must do something about it.

If you can't wrap your mind around that, then try: "Don't start no shite, won't be no shite."

It's not about revenge or body counts, it's about absolutely removing the status quo of the past. Hamas cannot be there anymore, at the very least, not in the ways before the unprovoked massacre.

Israel's recent bombing of he Jabalya refugee camp is just the latest example of indiscriminate bombing and the palestinian death toll is already eight times larger than the Israelis - many of them women and children.

It became acceptable when leaflets were dropped warning all innocent civilians in the area that Isreal would be targeting that area because Hamas was hiding among and beneath them at that camp, and in those leaflets, a warning was included urging all innocents to flee the area. They were provided plenty of time to leave, either they chose to leave, they ignored the repeated warnings, or they were forced to stay as a human shield by Hamas

It’s not like Palestinian civilians have
a lot of choices other than Hamas,
since 2005.

It was the people of Gaza that voted in Hamas knowing that in their mission statement, one goal was the elimination of the Jewish state and its people

I love this. Hey, we gave them a chance to leave. There was nowhere for them to go, but we gave them a chance.

This is the correct answer. Quite sad that civilians have to pay a price. But they should have rooted the terrorists out of their territory instead of embracing them.

There has never been a war without innocent casualties. No one cheers it on, but it's also not a deterrent.
