Even the price of diesel is way down. Filled my truck earlier this week and it was $3.20 a gallon here in Missouri

Sounds like we may actually have a viable plan that would send money to the individual to bargain with health insurance companies. Sending this money to the people and health insurers should reduce costs because insurers would have to compete for business. I agree that it is still a work in progress but it sound like a better option

I think he needs to temporarily extend them until he and the Republicans put a new plan in place. His idea to give the money straight to the people rather than the insurance companies sounds like a good start

And where were they when Obama authorized more than 550 drone strikes—including strikes that killed American citizens overseas without trial? The same people who claim to care about constitutional rights, executive overreach, and government accountability were silent when his administration dramatically expanded drone warfare. They had no problem with due-process concerns back then, no outrage over civilian casualties, and no demands for restraint or transparency. It’s hard to take their selective moral outrage seriously when they ignored one of the largest expansions of unilateral military power in modern history.

I used to love Chicago, it was probably my favorite city in the nation, but I won't be visiting again until they make some big changes. The violence used to be limited to the south side but now the entire city has gone down the toilet

If Moss was playing it’s a no brainer, I think the rain would help our chance against the Hogs but he is obviously out for awhile. Our O-Line is stout, it will be interesting to watch how they work with a new running back. Defensively I think we will win that battle, we will force them into 3rd and long and the rain will make it even harder to attack A&M

Unless I misread this, they were detained after trying to gain entry to the base. I would assume they have the same process we have at Fort Leonard Wood, MO where each person’s ID is scanned to see if they have any outstanding criminal history. With Leonard Wood being a training facility, we have a lot of families trying to get on post. If someone has a warrant out for their arrest, they are detained and the local police are called. This is just a guess on my part, maybe the parents tried to gain access and were detained because they had a flag on their record
