Trump is a cowardly lion. I'm actively rooting against him post-presidency and he better hope he has all his ducks in a reaux before he leaves office b/c the long knives are coming out and he won't have a weak DOJ to shield him.

Reminder that Kevin Clinesmith, a DOJ attorney, lied to get a FISA warrant during russiagate, got caught, and not only faced no prison time, but didn’t even have to pay a fine. His license was suspended in DC for one year.
This didn’t happen in a vacuum. Decades of rot and corruption in the DOJ and legal system doesn’t cease to exist because the administration changes and the entire DOJ can’t be replaced in an administration.
Anyone fighting against this corruption or on behalf of trump will have a target on their backs in two years. The lack of prosecutions is frustrating (and I don’t know that we have the people in charge to handle it), but this is the reality. This is one of the reasons this country is slipping into its death spiral, and we are too soft to pull ourselves out.
Now, lets go vote for the party who corrupted the DOJ and will re-open the border because we don’t like gas prices.
