The failure to hold anyone responsible for Russiagate now has to be accepted as permanent. After all these years, even after someone with the determination, pedigree, experience, and genuine desire to make accountability happen was finally put in a position to do something about it, it still did not happen. At this point, the conclusion is unavoidable. None of the people responsible for Russiagate have been held accountable, and none of them ever will be. That is the sad end of the story.
It is also a stark reminder that, despite President Trump breaking through decades, perhaps even centuries, of entrenched political rule, the underlying system of corruption remains alive and well. The institutions, networks, incentives, and protections that allowed all of this to happen are still there. They therefore have to be fought as if this were day one.
The Russiagate fraudsters got away with Russiagate. The impeachment liars got away with impeachment. The people responsible for the lies and abuses of the Covid era got away with those too.
But that is no reason to stop. It is the reason to keep going.
The machine has to be fought. There is no other way. There is no retreat, and there is no giving up.

Stuff like this is why republicans aren’t enthusiastic about voting. Why vote when the other side can do blatant stuff and face no accountability whatsoever. I have heard from so many people that the lack of accountability had completely demoralized them.

When JoeDiGenova looks at the evidence and says there’s no crime, it’s time you look in the mirror and ask whether you’ve been sold a bill of goods the whole time.

Just because there may not have been a crime (I’m not positive about that) it doesn’t mean anyone was “sold a bill of goods.”
you aren’t still buying the Russia hoax are you? We all remember. We know who was fooled.

Primaries might even be more important than the General elections.
Seriously.
Seriously.

If RussiaGate being a complete op by Brennan, et al and the Steele dossier with piss tapes are on the two opposite ends of the spectrum, the truth is likely somewhere in the middle.

The fact grown ups with an IQ over 85 can type this our sincerely is so mind numbing.

Trump controls his DOJ more than any president ever has. Genuine question: why hasn't Trump gotten to the bottom of this? It's not a criticism of Trump. I just genuinely don't understand it.

Well, well, well as the fella said above, more or less, tit for tat can be a biotch!!

Amy Robach had the story on Prince Andrew, and likely others, but bent the knee because her corporate leash holders told her to. It's the same across the board.
Epstein was killed before everyone's eyes, and nothing happened.
Trump was railroaded with fake and even criminal documents (Steele dossier) that could have cost him very real jail time, while Hillary skated on massive State Dept. violations and leaking top secret information.
Joe Biden illegally held documents not allowed, nothing happened.
James Comey committed multiple crimes, and to date has skated. Same with John Brennan.
Doctor Fauci committed multiple high level crimes, not the least of which was lying to congress, nothing will happen. Even though the auto-pen pardon doesn't protect him from that , the D.C. insiders are acting like he's pure as the wind driven snow.
And Obama's seditious Oval Office meeting to undercut the incoming Trump admin has been well documented, enough so to bring him up for charges. Nothing happens.

I have no idea. They tried to take the man’s life on multiple occasions and have repeatedly demonstrated they are willing to go after him, his family, and his supporters. Yet there is no accountability at all. We have heard about so much fraud and corruption. Yet are the Somalians being deported? How about the Haitians? There is no accountability, so why vote for them anymore?

This is a thread on the GTOE, specifically Russiagate, not random crazies

Are you just picking random talking points regardless if their relevance to OP?

Just another connected insider playing the game. Pretending what everyone sees isn't there, telling us there are 5 lights when there are only 4.

How many have to realize the same thing for you to accept it?
Or will you just continue to add one more layer to the conspiracy theory to protect your cognitive dissonance?
Big Joe is as real as it gets.

Trump has either failed us or there wasn’t anything there.
Zero big name perp walks. Zero people rotting in jail.
And to make it worse, the vile Dems will not stop going after him ever. Why would they? They get away with it in the courts and no one was made an example of.

SFP or Joe DiGenova?

I'm just looking for at least an explanation for the inaction by TRUMP'S DOJ. As it stands now, the explanation is either:
-the facts don't support prosecutions
OR
-Trump's DOJ is part of the corruption
