It really doesnt. You just have to cap physician and hospital pay, for those that accept it.
That would open back up markets and let physicians decided what insurance they accept

"Insurance" is actually what caused all this in the first place.
One of the biggest things all politicians of every stripe lies about is that you all must have health insurance. Everyone must have it. It's a necessity which is a lie.
Life insurance works. It's one event and easy as hell to predict in a large population of people.
Car insurance actually requires government intervention else hardly anyone would have it.
The worst deal is so-called "health insurance". You can't insure something that is likely going to happen several times to everyone in their lifetime. It's not really insurable.
If we got rid of this "health insurance" idea, healthcare would be a lot cheaper for most things. It wouldn't be the ridiculous industry it is now. They would only be able to charge what the market could bear.

You either have it totally subsidized to pay Pennies a month or a $1,000 monthly premium with a $7,000 deductible as well

You mean like eliminating preexisting conditions exemptions? It sounds great and I understand the sentiment but it’s unaffordable.

The Unaffordable Care Act. The government, both Democrats and Republicans, have not done anything constructive to fix the problem. It just go to show you how terribly corrupt and inefficient the government works. Health insurance and healthcare are not one and the same, which Obamacare tried to convince Americans that they were the same thing.

Yep - and our pal pookie (Obama) and his mafia democrat thieves reached into Medicare and pulled $ 494 billion dollars (a down payment actually) out of Medicare to fund obamacare. And the money they took out of Medicare hurt seniors. I vividly recall standing second person behind an elderly lady at my doctors office, and when the lady told her what her copay was she simply could not pay it. Our pal obama and his so-called Affordable Care Act raised her Medicare copay and she couldn't afford the increase. Luckily some nice gentleman standing directly behind her heard her dilemma and paid her copay. I recall thinking - Yep, there's your obamacare. They stole Social Security as well but that's another story.
But before that they sent out legions of democrat operatives to tell everyone in the country how great this legislation is.
Know what's really disgusting? I came across statistics recently that show the savings from all those seniors dying from Covid-19 resulted in an $ 85 billion dollar savings to the govmint. The fricking demoncrats do political ads showing Republicans pushing grandma and her wheelchair off the cliff. It's the exact opposite, actually.
Democrats really are despicable people.
