dems wont show up in this thread to make fun of your source like they usually do, but I digress..

I've said this for 2 years now. The pendulum was always going to swing, and the timing is right for Ron. People laughed at his campaign and rightfully so, but the timing of his departure from Trump was perfection, and now that Byron Donalds is taking over in Florida, It gives Ron plenty of space to build a formidable campaign that gives Republicans a break from Trump without giving up on the things we liked about MAGA. Ron is the future.

I think the big donors to the Republican Party are going to tag Rubio for their candidate. They probably believe Rubio can get the Hispanic vote back to 2024 level, which would be huge.

I don’t care who it is ..you idiots that stayed home to prove a point just got a bunch of commies elected. They will destroy your arse whether you like Ron, Rubio etc It’s like people forget the past so quickly. Democrats will vote for someone that didn’t pass 5th grade as long as they love abortion and want to dismantle the US. Damn idiots…we have primary and then general. If the Dems win 28 they are coming for the guns immediately. But keep worrying whether it’s Rubio or Ron or JD

I'm just a layman, but I think Rubio would be hard to beat. Assuming a well run campaign (which is a big assumption). I'll be handing out frozen Cuba Libres on my front porch in 2028 if I am able to manifest his presidency. I'll even use Mexican cokes.

I'm not a big Rubio guy but I would vote for him without hesitation vs some DSA lunatic.

I don't fundamentally believe you know jack shite about what you post. What policies specifically are you wanting to see done by the GOP in the official party platform? Because it makes little sense to love Trump and then shite on more conservative folks because they're not conservative enough. Trump is the most liberal republican president in a long time. And you think Rubio is controlling foreign policy unilaterally? Really? That makes no sense because the emperor wouldn't allow it.

Rubio showed himself as a neocon long before Trump came around. My opinion of him was developed long before Trump.

When Trump brought him and other neocons into office I was pretty sad and I was not at all shocked when war broke out.

It should be obvious by this point that Trump can be played like a fiddle for whatever the reason.

“This board?” That overly generalized, eh?

I suppose if you aren’t able or capable of seeing it then it’s understandable why you wouldn’t be embarrassed. That’s not exactly a ringing endorsement but it’s all I got.

Vance is in a tough spot. He is the only person in the administration, other than Trump, that was elected into his position. All of the others are appointees, including Rubio.

This is why Vance should have grown a fricking set of balls and told Trump that he was going to march right out in front of the TV cameras and throw Trump under the bus if he started firing missiles. Trump couldn't fire him. Vance could have started beating Trump over the head in the media every day until he stopped this bullshite, and there's not a damn thing Trump could have done about it.

Well, I don't know about "this board", but I voted for Rubio in the 2016 Tennessee primary.

The country needs a president that isn't IVY League educated.

Rubio went to the University of Florida and Miami law school.

I can't wait to vote for someone who quit on the job. Everyone knows that the best way to fix a problem is to separate yourself from the situation.

Sometimes it is. Stakes are a little bit higher than you planning the next potluck for your preacher.

When and where has DeSantis ever given any indication that he might be favorable to Massie and his current antics?

Do you really suspect he is in any way?

If he wants to be President, he needs to leave. If he stays, the Democrats might impeach and remove him and ban him from serving as President,

The thing that bothers me with Rubio is him being in the Gang of 8 with McCain when trying to pass amnesty for illegals. It's hard for me to fully trust Vance or Rubio because they both have changed dramatically to get into the Trump sphere.
Rubio on the immigration.
Vance on his general view of Trump.
It's like Trump got them in his cabinet just to get them out of the Senate where they couldn't fight him on things.

But I like the Rubio and Vance on a lot of things, but the changing positions do worry me.
