Clearly you haven't been listening to Kirby and a few other SEC coaches about the distinct disadvantage it creates for SEC teams in terms of making the playoffs and winning in the playoffs.
The extra game will add an additional weekend of elimination games.

With the new nine game conference schedule, all of the off season hype isn't going to protect you from the circular firing squad.
