Well, I’m comfortable and confident enough to actually say to you that you’re a smart guy. Plus I know that you better than what you said there. You know way better. You can’t simply speak it away.

That's cute. Why won't you answer the question?
Would the $2T Pelosi spending bill have gotten more than 40 Republican no votes if rather than try to get a conservative primaried for objecting to spending so much on Dem causes, he had lobbied another state to primary a Republican for supporting the Dem bill?

419-6 and 96-0. Man if they had just not had the voice vote!
THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES last month swiftly passed the CARES Act, a $2.2 trillion spending bill, one of the largest stimulus measures to date, with only three hours of debate and no recorded vote. Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif. mobilized lawmakers to agree to the unconventional method for passing the CARES Act.
The measure — a response to the economic crisis sparked by the coronavirus pandemic, which includes limited safety net provisions for individuals and unprecedented corporate bailout funds for a range of industries — passed on March 27 and was signed into law by President Donald Trump later that day. The decision to usher the legislation through by unanimous consent “voice vote,” a procedure typically reserved for uncontroversial legislation, such as the naming of post office buildings, meant that there is no record of how each lawmaker voted.

It’s ok to call out bullshite too. If you really think things wouldn’t have been different with a different president I don’t know what to tell you. They could have been better, they could have been worse. The president does impact that path well before it ever gets to a bill. If you don’t believe that then you shouldn’t care who gets elected.

Good to see Deadbeat DeSantis finally realize the error of his ways. Maybe he can stop the senseless attacks against Trump that did nothing but hurt the country he claims to love so much.

God we are so fricked, Nikki Haley against Trump? Dems gonna replace Biden with Newsome.

In an election year on top of that. If you had a president that was more based in an ideology... and cared mroe about the country than being re-elected, things could have been very, very different.

But Trump was always going to do what was best for Trump. That was avoid as much media criticism as possible by letting Fauci run the show, and pass out massive checks.
That's what his policies reflect. It is what it is.

Thanks Ron. Good exit speech.

Imagine having supported him for President
I don’t blame anyone for supporting him, unless they ultimately vote for the competition, which means they never actually supported him.
He’s a great candidate, it was bad timing and led to a bad campaign.

I am indeed a gun guy, and I feel about the same way with Trump on it, as a general matter, as I do with Desantis. Both have been or are in positions to affect serious aspects of it in almost identical terms, I view both of them as being very respectful and protective of our rights, and also understand at a deep level why they both share the same or very near the same position on red flag laws.
Trump just happened to address an aspect of it that sounds striking to hear it vocalized, while Desantis is actually the one of the two who is actually facilitating its availability for use at the present time, in Florida. And again I fully understand why he hasn’t brought to bear his consolidated power to make things happen in that state to dismantle and rescind FL’s strict RF laws.
I understand the nuts and bolts of the law, I understand how it’s typically applied in real life instances, and I agree with their positions that it’s a net benefit to society and its status as an unfortunately necessary tool they must employ to discharge their highest ranking obligation of protecting the citizens “in their charge.” And I fully trust that they each are fully cognizant of their constitutional obligations to apply that necessary tool in the “un-intrusive” manner possible, albeit not an ideal scenario.

You agree with Trump that its ok to send the FBI or police to a home to seize guns without due process.
Thats incredible.

Is Desantis a cultist now that he will vote for Trump?
Is he also a liberal for voting for a liberal?
Just checking consistency.

Awesome…but the work is not complete. DeSantis must be impeached as Governor. I fully expect DJT to keep the hammer down until there is a full on revolution and DeSantis and his wannabe Jackie O wife are literally burned as a reminder. Loomer will now be appointed Governor and All of his awful policies must be reversed. Property taxes and homeowners insurance will be lowered by fiat.

Fine, I'll melt harder but any melting I do is frickin' nothing compared to the Chernobyl style meltdown you're gonna have when Donald Trump gets utterly buttfricked in the general election by Gavin Newsom.
