Trump is going to continue to spend like nothing matters. We will run deficits that Obama couldn’t dream about. And you’ll be here saying “DeSantis would’ve done the same thing.”

It’s going to be fun to watch. But sad, too.

you support taxing the rich and whine about estate tax exemptions. You’re the populist and you’re too dumb to realize that. Despite me pointing it out to you many many times. You think the evil rich are out to get you. My point has been made and you avoid it at all costs. You aren’t intellectual, you’re a feeble minded fool who is so emotional over Trump you are having multiple melts a day. I dont like this for you. It isn’t healthy.

Instead of my prior effort to be engaging and respectful, as you suggest I’ll make it brief and simply say it’s beyond obvious you’re well short, blatantly short, of being informed enough to have an adult discussion on the subject.

Only way to be so terse is to be dismissive and inconsiderate like this. Not my preference of styles. But somehow that’s the preference of style elsewhere.

Not at all, youre just an economic simpleton.

Trumps COVID money will be paid back, because he literally printed it.

Do you know what that means, Bonds?

Maybe. Again, that has zero relevance to my point that the cares act would have become law even with a DeSantis whitehouse.

Why can’t you cultists just say “you’re right, but moving forward he would be much better?” Then give your policy reasons why. Instead you ignore the facts and ignore the initial point completely.

Sure. The overall point is that you’ll defend everything Trump does, no matter how much it conflicts with your supposed ideals.

The bottom line is trump is a liberal and spends more than most Democrat.

Are you a liberal, Bonds?

That is the entirety of my point. I didn’t think it would be so controversial.
It's controversial, because it leaves out half of the story. Numerous democrats opposed the "Inflation Reduction Act". Perfectly true statement. Many did, actually.

Does that mean they are fiscal conservatives? Nope. They wanted it to be bigger.

Same with Trump on COVID spending.

I offered zero defense for trump in this thread. I even said the cares act was bad legislation. I made a simple point, but even perceived criticism of Ron (no matter how probable it is) is met with a wave of deflection.

Agreed. And the spending that occurred under trump is by far my biggest issue with him.

You’re creating equivalencies for Trump to excuse him. It’s your favorite move.

It might be the only defense you’ve ever offered for his obvious blunders.

That’s not a point, it’s a claim about a hypothetical. Pointless would be more accurate.

You ignoring the fact that Ron would have done the exact same thing yet villainize trump seems to be the flip side of that same coin.

He is weak and will fold every single time

The face-off is reminiscent of 2018, when Trump threatened to veto an omnibus bill "nobody read." He ultimately ended up not vetoing but promised at the time never to sign such legislation again.

Trump fossil was setting records before Covid. He is weak, and no leader.

Hypothetical? 6 members of congress voted against it and DeSantis publicly supported it. It’s ok to not like every single thing your preferred candidate has ever said.

Another equivalency post. DeSantis is out of the race. You have to live with Trump now.
