I would say the past 50 years on Iran hasn't been great.
If you can get rid of the radical Islamists in charge then we are better off, if not, we are in the same place.

If that's truly what you EXPECT and you will still not believe him, then I SUSPECT that this was always your belief since the first bombs were dropped. A total surrender by Iran would somehow not change your mind.

1. Is the outcome that DJT has sought since the inception of this endeavor but understanding from the very outset that this may not all go according to plan. However, "SOMETHING" had to be done. Trump moved when we simply had no choice and Iran was weeks away from a bomb. From the beginning everyone wanted this to last no longer their attention may one or two days, (unrealistic) and now every time Trump ramps up everyone bitches and screams and when Trump ramps down or gives peace a chance by pulling back everyone bitches and screams. There was never an easy way to do what Trump is doing "unarm, defang and destabilize a bunch of crazy arse jihadist who had come awful close to developing a nuclear weapon, and who were just weeks away from a nuclear bomb that they couldn't wait to blow all you simple fricks up with. Go jump off a bridge or something you'd get better results than continually bitching about something you obliviously can't comprehend.

I think that he's given them all the rope he's ever going to need. I think he hoped they would take the out and negotiate but they're too insane. So now the world is going to have to accept what comes next. Which is going to be limited invasion. Kharg Island is going to be ours before this is over because they are too stupid to avoid it at this point. They don't have control of their military so anything they agree to some goat enjoyer down by the coast can blow up with a drone with a hand grenade taped to it.
I think Zelensky is going to somehow pull himself into this with another strike on a ship in the Black Sea. China will continue to send in MANPADS and such while denying it.
We will slowly walk our way towards the cliff that at this point I don't really see how we avoid without losing the midterms. If Trump is just tapping them along now and remains tit for tat through the election we could still win and then he can open the full can of woopass on them. But there's more going on here than we are privy to.
Russia is getting their jimmies rustled and at this rate will probably have to nuke Ukraine to stop the war. I don't think Ukraine is going to stop till they get back Crimea and I don't think Russia is going to be willing to do that. And we might have to nuke Iran to get them to stop as well or to really deal with Pickaxe Mountain.
I think the dominoes are going to fall how they always were. Trump's just the tool. We're going to full and open WW3 for everyone to see vs the WW3 we've been in since Covid.

Overall, I trust his instincts. He is almost always correct. There is more going on then we know publicly. My opinion is Iran will never honor a cease fire, so bomb the crap out of them. I think part of the strategy is to get the rest of the Middle East on board with the Abraham Accords. If that happens, it will totally isolate Iran, and the Middle East allies will be able to defend themselves.

If we know China is lying about sending more missiles, we need to free up those shipments to Taiwan and start packing that thing with missiles.

Iran can’t be trusted
And trump said we obliterated their nuclear capability in June 2025. I believed that.
Until he said we needed to do more

This should be obvious. People can't fathom that other people can dislike Biden and also criticize Trump. I don't see how that's a difficult concept but for some people it is.
