For conservatives, Kamala was never a an option.

I think people are second guessing Trump not for Kamala or a Biden but for other Republican options.

Just like the the Israelites in the desert.
They will never see the promised land because they will NEVER be satisfied
1. Stopped all illegal immigration. Millions.
2. Appointed the best Supreme Court we have had in my lifetime.
3. Has made everyone who trusted his promise of booming economy rich if you have been in the stock market since his first term.

“But we are tired of the manna. Give us meat.”
Some people will never be satisfied.

These are a stubborn and blasphemous people. How can anyone be saved.

Where is the appreciation for what he has done?

The question is

Could we have gotten the positives you point out with another person who embodies real conservative principles and eliminate some or all of the negatives that come with Trump- ie. irritating comments, war, bad cabinet hires, obnoxious grift, etc.

I think so

And this stuff will have repercussions.
The counter actions which will inevitably come when a democrat gets elected, will be rationalized “because Trump did it”.

Those of you that are big time MAGA / Trump fans… how do you think he is doing with Iran? Is everything great, or is a change in strategy needed?

Where do you think this ends up at year end?

About as good as can be expected when the other side knows you will never commit ground troops. Trump simply cannot do it or else Republicans will be ran out of Washington. The Iranians know this and have all the leverage.

We should have left after we bombed their nuke facilities. I am not sure what the point of going back in was.

Source?

Even your imaginary scenario, were it true in some alternate universe, would not be the same thing. I said there was no war. I didnt say no one had committed muh acts of war.

There are acts of war committed all the time. When the Ukraine blew up the Russia pipeline to Europe that was an act of war against both Germany AND Russia.

But there was no war. No soldiers were fighting.

Like in Iran. No soldiers are fighting. It's a blockade, not a 'war'.

MMmmkay? Better luck next time.

What you are seeing now is Trump doing stuff because the c riminal Democrats tried to imprison him and his family, and tried to have him murdered multiple times.

So save your crocodile tears.

Hogwash and if true, it doesn’t make it right.

Trump is cashing in because he wants to use the office of the presidency to enrich himself.

No clue why he engaged in war with Iran despite the promise of no new wars.

He’s been on record his whole life saying Iran can’t get a nuke. We attacked their site, they attacked our baeses, we attacked back. If you have no clue why at this point you are really dumb.

President Trump is trying to use diplomacy to resolve the Iran war. I commend him for this effort, but I doubt this will work. The problem I see is as soon as any agreement for a ceasefire is reached and the SOH is open again the more islamic militant Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) wing drones another oil tanker. The effect of this action by the IRGC is that it, 1) keeps the price of oil high and the COL in the USA high and, 2) it makes Donald Trump out to be a buffoon and his attempt at diplomacy, and his bombing campaign ineffective. Truth be known, Iran wants this war to continue. They can smell blood - Donald Trump's blood.

Plus Iran sees what's happening here and all over the world with the spread of Islam. They would much rather see the mafia democrats in power in Washington. Since the democrat party is gradually being taken over by the radical Islamo-Marxist they believe the trend points in their favor. No secret should the mafia democrats succeed in regaining control of the House and Senate in November they first thing they will do is move to impeach President Trump. Whereupon, if successful, the democrats will most likely choose the Obama - Biden route to deal with Iran - throw more money at Iran. The effect of that being the mafia democrat money keeps Iran quiet, and provides the mafia democrat party with another scheme to funnel money to the DNC. Just like Joe Biden did with the aid to Ukraine.

Islam always presents itself as a lamb, even pretends to represent the interest of the poor man. But once it gains complete power and control it sets about demanding we (aka infidels) either convert to Islam or face extinction. That's because Islam views non-islamics as infidels (slightly above pigs) - and they have no problem slicing off the heads of infidels. Just like they have no problem flying passenger jets into high rise buildings. While their Muslim Brotherhood pals celebrate with their "Allahu Akbar" chant as our fellow Americans jumped off burning high rise buildings on 9/11.

IMO the American electorate made one strategic blunder when they elected the Muslim Barook Hussein Obama. Obama opened the gate to let these muzzies in. Once they were here they began to build mosque - lots of mosque. Fortress Islam I call it.

Trump 2026 - he took a bullet from an assassin sent by Iran. When intelligence uncovered an Iranian plot to send terrorist to kill us - his bombing campaign stopped them

He is on record saying no new wars and ran on that promise. He also said he’d have Russia and Ukraine settled. None have become real. But somehow you know what he really meant!? lol.

And beside that, he bombed them in June 2025 and said we obliterated their nuclear capability! Then he said we didn’t. Then he waged war….

I didn’t vote for this.

Also, this is a typical Trump situation where he says a bunch of different things and then people grab what they want later on. Yeah, he said something in the '80's about Iran and a nuke. He probably did a few more times after that. But, he said no new wars 100 times at rallies and his calling card was opposing neocon interventionism. Twisting this Iran conflict into the idea that it's not a war, a new war, or a forever war, is so disingenuous. It's probably the second biggest betrayal you could come up with of what he stood for. The only thing thing that would be worse is if he didn't defend the border (kudos to him for his actions there).

You are certainly smart enough to realize that spending a billion+ dollars a day on a war in the middle east that doesn't help American tax payers AT ALL, or even the good people of Iran, is NOT the right thing.
