I mean they might not raise prices, they may reduce salaries, halt wage growth, reduce employee perks, cut travel, reduce charitable giving, or do any number of other thigns to reduce cost. Society will still bear it.

If there is ever a phrase that needs to be killed with fire it is this BS. Any tax on a corporation is directly passed on to the consumer through higher prices or the employees with lower wages.
