If they were in fact successful in taking out the Ayatollah, I wonder how long this will actually last. Most of the senior leadership seems to have been taken out while we slept. This doesn’t seem like it will be a drawn out process. The last few have to be worried as frick.

This is Trump’s new tactics piloted in Venezuela. Decapitate the top leadership, then make deals with the frightened remainders who were never ideologues anyway. This is realpolitik instead of the nation building idiocy of the 2000’s. Trump is educating the next generation of American leaders.

I trust Trump with this type of unilateral war power, but wouldn't trust an AOC the same way. For that reason, its probably best to have some type of Congressional approval, as our framers intended. The risk/reward profile should be fleshed out further. We cant afford trillions more war debt on our balance sheet after COVID.

It’s been impressive to watch unfold so far. I hope this was a decapitating strike that does just that.

Apparently they prepped for this. To the point that the next one up knows what to do, and it starts breaking the leadership down into regional factions control. So hopefully that's being taken into consideration.

Would someone explain to me slowly- why we’re starting a war with these people.

I hope it’s over quickly. I support the Troops. I support the President.

But, in all seriousness- I need to understand why we are doing this. I get that there are MIC money interests going on. But what is the stated reason for it beyond Iran is meanie pants.

Illhan Omar? Tlalib? There's more, but let's start with those two...

Is this what Trump meant by “no more wars”?
Dood. We've had conflict with Iran for decades before Trump even entered politics.

It sure seems like, similar to the response of the Venezuelan
people, the locals in Iran are stoked and the only ones upset about this is the American left.

1. This isn't a war yet. Come on, you're a lawyer, look it up. Don't fall for the leftist talking points.

2. The Iranian regime has used proxy forces for a long time to attack American interests all over the world.

3. They just slaughtered 35,000 of their own people.

4. It's not happening anymore - period. They've gotta go.

How about the murder of several thousand people by the regime in that country over the last month- that is justification for retribution in my book
