You have to hand it to him. He went balls out on a retarded cause and hasn't backed down. I'll at least give him credit for not folding.

Speaking of balls. Where are the references to his girlfriend, the social leader of the internet and her strong Islamic traditions? Two years ago there were pictures on line of the two of them visiting Africa and both being welcomed with large crowds. Both names equally well known. Now....crickets.

I know people who work for Nike and they very badly wanted to make an ad campaign around “black lives matter”. It was nixed at the very top (equivalent of a 5-4 Supreme Court decision) but it almost got through. They did the equility thing instead - and now this.

It’s probably a good business decision for Nike - they wouldn’t have done this if it didn’t make sense.

Sucks they want to sell out America in order to be “edgy” and make an extra 3%.

Has to be a direct indicator of their target demographic.

They're essentially nuking a portion of their customers to target this demographic.

I don't think it's a smart move

These idiots just don't get it. It wasn't the kneeling. It was when he kneeling and on company time.

It was blind anti-BLM hatred, republican snowflakes getting their feelings hurt because someone "disrespected the flag", and Trump said it so his supporters are compelled to agree with him.

Criticize the armed forces or police officers in this country and right wing snowflakes will do their best to crucify you

I’m def not one to boycott or not buy products based off a companies activities, but I think I’ll be staying away from Nike now.

To choose to align with such a piece of shite is almost inexcusable

He’d have a job if he didn’t opt out of his contract. Also, I suppose black lives matter but not those in the Asian sweatshops.

I didn't realize their benchwarming gear line was such a marketing focal point. Oh wait, is he even good enough to hold a nike towel and clipboard? I guess it's for day walkers and such.
