True, but they have shown a pattern to be against anything that Trump supports, unless the politics of it overwhelm them, like illegal immigration did. This is what I think will happen. Liberals will pillory Trump on this, even though, as you point out, it is a traditionally liberal issue. Then, as it turns out to yield positive things, they will co-opt it like they kept Trump’s China tariffs.

Those days are over. They could get away with that shite when you had an influential MSM crafting and amplifying your narrative. MSM has turned into a joke.

Not scientific but in our group of 9 weekend band mates two have autistic children. That's a large percentage.

I’m not trying to attribute all, or even most, but it is being diagnosed too much.

I’m thrilled to hear they are at least attempting to question things. It’s crazy that today the media does not like questioning vaccine or drug safety. If anything about vaccines are brought up, they automatically label you as crazy.

I have 2 autistic children. One is 6 and one is 4 and both are non-verbal. It’s a gut wrenching diagnosis to hear as a parent. Our families do not have a history of autism either.

Just like a lot of other people on here, I did not see nearly the amount of people growing up 40 years ago with these issues. Now they have multiple special education classes in all schools with these issues. There are other issues (eczema, etc) that my children and even other kids in my family have that I don’t remember seeing as prevalent with my age group. Something is causing these issues. Whether it is our food, microplastics, air quality, or vaccines everyone should be on board with investigating everything to see what is causing these things.

I had my children (now adults) vaccinated for everything. I actively discouraged them from multiple Covid shots (not vaccinations).

But I highly recommend that we actively investigate all impacts on public importance from vaccines to global warming “consensus.

The more information we have, the more informed our individual choices.

What is this generation’s obsession with having conversations they’re wholly unqualified to have and gatekeeping the experts out of the conversation?

Individual drugs administered at the same time can have vastly different side effect profiles than when administered independently, particularly in young children.

In most cases they aren’t tested in conjunction with other drugs and even when they are the long term data is often closed before you’d be able to see 5-10-15 year outcomes and side effect profiles.

With some of the cocktail style vaccines where multiples are given at the same time it’s entirely possible that they’re causing autism that would’ve been avoidable had they been spread out.

You're right, and both sides of this coin have been tested a great deal and somewhat rigorously.

Anytime someone says "we need to look into x" while being ignorant of a great deal of scientific literature on the issue, they look like even bigger idiots than those you reference.

Hopefully they will also look at the cumulative effects of so many vaccines in respect to autoimmune and immune mediated conditions. From ChatGPT:
quote:

The top ten most prevalent immune-related conditions affecting children are allergies, asthma, eczema (atopic dermatitis), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), celiac disease, type 1 diabetes (T1D), hay fever (allergic rhinitis), alopecia areata, rheumatic fever, and urticaria (hives).

but you know what you don’t see? Adults with autism.
So what happened to all those undiagnosed autistic kids from 60/50/40 years ago?

low functioning autistic adults aren't out "in the wild" for you to interact with and high functioning ones present as mostly normal either due to masking or the limited nature of their impairments.

also, those undiagnosed, high functioning kids that are now adults aren't likely to go out and get a diagnosis, as it's mostly pointless this late in life.

Truth.

When I was a kid the only thing I ever heard of was one kid was allergic to peanuts. Never hear of anyone being allergic to anything else for a couple of decades at least.

Now people can't have gluten, can't have shellfish, can't eat all sorts of things. This crap is all new, not just autism, not just being allergic to common foods. It has many causes. Microplastics, vaccines, gmo food, cattle eating gmo corn, many chemicals and metals that end up in our food.

It's nice to see the receptiveness to investigating this subject.

I brought it up back in January on the OT, with the majority convinced that discussing and investigating vaccines was a total waste of time.

Why do you think this thread is more receptive than this one?
