In Louisiana we have gone back to closed party elections. Libertarians can only vote in the libertarian primaries. State wide the Republican wins 90% of the time, the Democrat is second and the Libertarian is distant if they have a candidate at all.
If you want to change parties in protest, choose Independent so you can pick either the R or D, and have a real voice other than screaming into the wind.

I’m going to be charitable to you. I’m assuming you are young and inexperienced and fall for their rhetoric and haven’t noticed their actual results.
Socialist/Democrates haven’t made things more affordable for decades.
They just claim to with government boondoggles that enrich themselves, their friends, and crumbs to the poor.
To do this they tax the hell out of the middle class.
When they cannot tax they just create debt to move the cash anyway creating inflation that hits the middle class and elderly the hardest.
If only they would do what they claim instead of what they actually do.

I’ve witnessed a month of attack ads on her behalf on YouTube! And her campaign’s ads are just puff pieces of her supporting nonissues that 90% of Louisiana’s voters support.
My strategy for the first primary was to vote for the number 2 candidate in front of Cassidy to eliminate him! That was Fleming at the time.
I really didn’t know anything about Letlow or Fleming then. I’ve researched both since, and I’m heavily leaning Fleming. To misquote an ex governor, “unless he’s found with a dead girl or a live boy in his bed, he’s going to win.”
