It's only going to keep going up. How long have people been fully vaxxed? Seems silly to say this when these vaccines lose their efficacy pretty quickly.
Honestly there’s a decent chance of Covid killing me… 50 years from now. But anytime soon, no.

About 75% of the vaccinated people I know have come down with COVID. Aunt and uncle are struggling with it right now. Fully vaxxed in May/June.

It’s 0.007. That’s .7%.

Did you even read your links?
It’s less likely to have a case when vaccinated and less likely to be hospitalized. There are charts to show that…

Its a coronavirus. The fact that we have a vaccine in itself is a miracle for one of those. But we're probably at the tail end of effectiveness right now for early adopters. Just going by immune response to other coronaviruses like the common cold. So it's gonna be a few months of testing and strategizing and unfortunately since it's a year round bug we won't have the luxury of one shot and good for the season but probably spaced out shots 6-9 months apart. Just the nature of it and immune systems.

No. It says 0.007%
But that’s among all vaccinated. Not breakthroughs.

I did read the links. They keep saying things that the data doesn’t really support.
If you want to hang your hat on decreasing hospitalization from 4% to 3.5%, you are free to do that.

You are wrong. I never claimed the vaccine was total protection. That’s not how they work.
That is NOT what your government overlords were telling the country in March.
Please show us where you called them out and called them liars because clearly you know better.
And if you can't then you're a f*cking LIAR.

That may be 0.007% of all vaccinated. We’re talking about breakthrough infections.
345/44,458=0.7%
If you’re following the numbers in Massachusetts, they’re averaging ~4,000 breakthrough cases a week.
The hospitalization rates and mortality have remained relatively constant for vaccinated.

Happened to me too. What a joke.
But the symptoms did go away quickly.

I work in the hospital and have treated Covid pts since the beginning. Number 1 is that natural immunity is the best. Number 2 the vaccine is doing its job and keeping the VAST majority of the folks who take it from developing severe Covid. The vaccine does not prevent spreading of the virus like they had hoped.

You are parroting the same rhetoric that continues to fall short when science is applied.
Viral loads fluctuate based on each case, cases both vaxxed & non vaxxed have shown high viral loads (in non symptomatic cases as well).
Wake up to anything they profess that this gene therapy provides. The data is so manipulated it’s irrelevant & it still falls short of promises.

The data shows the case rate for vaccinated is currently a quarter or less vs those unvaxxed. Breakthroughs are more common for elderly. The average age is 48. Way older than the current average age of all cases. So when broken down by age, the data shows that symptoms are less severe. You just don’t know how to read the data.

Does this make sense:
You have a 99.7% chance of NOT dying from COVID without the vaccine.
The vaccine effectiveness ranges between 40% (Israel) and 99% (reported by pharma). Let just settle for 60% which is about the effectiveness of the flu vaccine.
So 1- 0.997 is 0.003 and 0.003 X 0.6 is 0.0018.
Thus the your chances of NOT dying from COVID in increase to 0.997 + 0.0018 = 99.88% with the vaccine.
That's for the general population.
Is the vaccine worth it, really?

It’s not about what’s right or common sense. It’s about money and control. Vaccinated or unvaccinated it doesn’t matter.
2 weeks = 2 years.
Vaccine = still wear mask/still lockdowns
Nobel peace prize medicine = horse dewormer
I can go on, but long story short....both vax and unvaxed need to stand together for what is right. This thing clearly does not need to be mandated and our government does not give a rats arse about either group as they only reap the benefits of our suffering.

The absolute risk reduction for hospitalization is at most 2%.
The absolute risk reduction for mortality might be 0.5%. It’s likely less than that.
