You may as well add in Auburn and Huntsville. Lee and Madison broke blue.

You know, the areas of the state with the highest concentration of educated people.

It's not a big defeat of repubs...more of the rejection of a perceived perv. I suspect in 2018 the repubs will roll in Alabama....unless they run Jarret from Subway....

AL.com with the notification to my phone just now saying Jones is the winner.

Roy SHOULD not have rode in on a horse to vote today.

Screw the allegations against him, just look at the track record. Republicans are screaming about the Constitution yet prop up a guy that shits on it. He's a self-serving a-hole.

The Alabama GOP couldn't muster up any better than this? For fricks sake, Jeb could win this. Anyone with a pulse that isn't a total moron could pull it off.

100% truth.

I'm by no means a huge fan of Moore and whoever wins this race is out in 2 years.

Hillary is protected by the establishment but I'll settle for the scalps of proven crooks like DWS/Strokes/Lynch etc

No it's not. FOX has been predicting most of the night that Jones would win.

Correct. They have been thinking Moore would win all night, and everybody at Fox except for Hannity are breathing a sigh of relief.

Its actually a good defeat for the Republican Party for the future going forward because the Party has moved far beyond these types of religious nut jobs.

Plus Dems can't bitch about GOP suporting Moore, now Franken will most likely resign soon. These Moore allegations will disappear completely tomorrow. Time to pass tax reform!
