What? An election is about the best due process one could get. It's a huge jury in the court of public opinion. He isn't being jailed over hearsay.

AP and New York Times calling it for Jones.

If it's any consolation, Moore losing tonight might be the better result in the long run.
It's def. the worst result in the short term (the next 2 years) but it may end up saving more Republican seats in the long run.
That's what made this election so weird.

Roy Moore was about as bad a candidate as could have run. As a conservative...I can freely admit that. Dems defeated a creepy perv by almost two points. Maybe next time the repubs will run O.J....No melt here. I'm not surprised at all.

So, what is the narrative now? They can’t tag Roy on the Republicans. Republican voters rejected him.

How big of a defeat is this for republicans

This is all about Moore. People had enough of him. Good news is he should be gone forever now.

It's been at 81% for a while. Is the thread not being updated anymore or is the reporting slowing down?

LDonald Trump won in Alabama by 28 points just 13 months ago. Tonight Roy Moore is going to lose a Senate election there.
That is an absolutely amazing shift in such a short time.
It's really not. Remove the party labels and honestly look at Moore. He's a fricking joke.
Screw the allegations against him, just look at the track record. Republicans are screaming about the Constitution yet prop up a guy that shits on it. He's a self-serving a-hole.
The Alabama GOP couldn't muster up any better than this? For fricks sake, Jeb could win this. Anyone with a pulse that isn't a total moron could pull it off.

Even people from Alabama are tired of snake handlers. Good day.

It's no shift at all.
It's pure testimony to what an utter piece of shite Moore is.
Representative from his campaign even in the just last 24 hours publicly stated that Moore probably still believes that homosexuality should be a criminal act.
