there is only a specific sliver that the moratorium applies to, specifically non-payment of rent. if you violate your lease for other reasons you can be evicted

You can still evict for non payment, it's up to the tenant to submit the CDC declaration ( PDF) that the non-payment was due to COVID19. They can also simply testify to same orally in court, from what I've seen.

Understandable. Hey, FYI there is a seven hundred page thread dedicated to an absolutely insane and dangerous conspiracy theory right here at the top of this page. Hope that helps!
My cayenne has been great for 106,000 miles and counting. The transfer case issues occur more frequently with the higher horsepower models - the Turbo especially. Mine is on the original.
In fact, mine has only had two parts replaced in 8 years: a water pump at 70k (even the vaunted Land Cruiser 200 series throws water pumps about as frequently) and a thermostat at 80k miles.
Maintenance is not bad - I do annual services at the dealership for $400 because they give me a sweet loaner and I'm a sucker for peace of mind. Tires are ~$1200 if you get them on tirerack and the Pirellis I buy last about 40k miles.
Oddly enough, it's so complex that whenever there are issues, many can be fixed by turning off the car, waiting 30 seconds, and starting it again - like resetting a modem. Also the manual is helpful for a lot of unexpected issues: I had a headlight burn out. Of course I panicked that it would be $1000 to repair. After reading the manual I learned the entire headlight assembly pops out and you can change a bulb yourself in 2 minutes for around $14.

A tree tried to take it out last week but it's being fixed. Only $10k for a rear hatch!

I do have some shopping advice though: These things have a million options and no two are configured the same. Really sit down and figure out what goofy shite you want and be picky. I regret not getting the S model with 100 more HP. I regret not getting cooled seats and a trailer hitch and a panoramic roof and the two-tone cream/brown interior and the 20" RS Spyder Wheels... None of these insanely expensive options command much of a price bump on the used market. You just have to shop carefully.
It added $1.5 Trillion to the deficit. We’re hitting the debt ceiling a month ahead of schedule. It gives the biggest cuts to billionaires.

The federal government is on track to borrow nearly $1 trillion this fiscal year — Trump's first full year in charge of the budget.

That's almost double what the government borrowed in fiscal year 2017.

Here are the exact figures: The U.S. Treasury expects to borrow $955 billion this fiscal year, according to a documents released Wednesday. It's the highest amount of borrowing in six years, and a big jump from the $519 billion the federal government borrowed last year.

Treasury mainly attributed the increase to the “fiscal outlook.” The Congressional Budget Office was more blunt. In a report this week, the CBO said tax receipts are going to be lower because of the new tax law.

Alright, I gotta ask: what damn industry is this and what (general) role do you play? Usually it’s pretty easy to deduce in these threads. Oilfield sales is my best guess.

I just signed a petition to sue a guy for an unpaid debt who listed Primerica as his employer. He attached a 1099 to the loan app - dude made $122k from them last year.

3.9 to 4.25ish is what I'm getting from Jan 1 to now.... That's a big increase.

Here's the terrible thing about a 4.25% rate: Rates will likely never get cheap enough down the line to refinance (generally you'd like to get 1% lower to make a refi worthwhile). It's in this no-man's land of "pretty cheap historically" but not cheap enough to be happy with. (I bought my home at 4.25).

Might get more credibility if he took him somewhere better than Subway.

Well the kid still has to get into Tulane on their own. Which isn't exactly a walk in the park.

As several people on here already know, when I was in high school in the early 2000's I created a pretty popular website that hosted hundreds of flash games and made well over 100k my sophomore year. I sold the site in 2008 and now I make over a million per year mostly just renting out property. Have never actually worked a real job in my life

That's a lot of rental income. How many units do you manage? How many do you have on payroll for upkeep on all that? Houses, condos, or commercial property? What part of the country?

I laugh my arse off when people say this. What do you think makes the US Dollar any more real?

Well for one thing, currency genius, the US Dollar doesn’t fluctuate like some tech stock back in the 90’s. It’s not currency. It’s an investment fad. It’s down 46% in 24 days. More than 50% in 44 days. I’m sure it will return to those levels, too! Doesn’t make it a currency.
The most annoying thing about bitcoin (besides investors who got lucky and now think they’re smart) is the energy consumption. LINK

Welp!
You gotta go. Getting a F500 on your resume is the golden ticket. Once you’re in that club it’s a lot easier to move around. Also: you’re here to make money; the only way to do that in a small company is with equity. Doesn’t seem like they’re keen on doing that any time soon.
Setting aside the fact that "The Wall" will never be built...

You think this administration is dumb enough to just choose a firm rather than bidding it out?

Oh shite, yeah you're right, probably just gonna pick some donor who says he has a construction company. Like the wireline company in Puerto Rico that had two employees

it would be hard not to spring for a Ferrari at that price.

What I love about a 911 is that it isn't a Ferrari. You won't get bothered every time you get gas, you won't have people taking pictures when you're driving down the highway, you won't necessarily look out of place anywhere. But it'll be just as much fun to drive, much better for a road trip, and usable every day.
Plus it seats a family of 4 with a (small) bag each!

I'll take mine as a GTS 4 in some sort of Paint to Sample - fashion grey, Brewster Green, Oak Green Metallic, I dunno. Luckily I have a few years to decide.

How you like your Cayenne baw?

Mine is a 2011 with 82,000 miles now. When I bought it had around 50k. It is without question the best vehicle I've ever bought - I have no idea why the resale is so bad on these, other than unfounded paranoia on maintenance. The only issue I've had is a water pump failure at 70k, a well-known weak point (Land Cruisers have the same problem). I've read Turbo models can have issues with the transfer case - because they're 500HP & AWD - but that could be message boards skewing the data.

With a good radar detector it's the best road trip vehicle at any price.

Anything you don't like?

Wish I had sprung for the GTS or Turbo.

There are so many for sale and Porsche options are all a-la-carte so you really need to shop carefully to make sure you get one with all the features you want. Run the VIN on vindecoderz.com to see the build sheet.

The internet has really leveled the playing field for car buying.

Yes. I don't want to lump all midsize dealers together, but many in my area just don't give a damn because so many boomers and geriatrics still walk in off the street and demand to pay MSRP and not a dollar more!

I bought my last car from an individual in Florence, Alabama. I financed through Regions, which has offices here and there and everything went smoothly. Any dealer these days has enough experience to make it seamless - finding a banker who gets all the ducks in a row is trickier.
I am by no means an OT Baller, but I drive a Cayenne because it's the most fun car that I can fit toddlers in. Anyway, I got an oil change at the Porsche dealer and a couple weeks later they invited me (and everyone else who got the email blast - first few to respond got the spots) to the Porsche Driving School in Alabama - totally free except for my hotel room - even including a dinner. Each dealer gets allocations and I guess their turn came up and didn't have enough ballers to fill out the roster. I couldn't go because it was on about 3 days notice, but I will next time. You drive every version of the 911 and whatever other Porsche you want. An $1800 trip all for getting an overpriced oil change.
