Cornyn called Trump’s language on January 6th reckless, and criticized him on electability saying his time had passed him by for 2024.

In top of that, Cornyn is a Bush lackey. That whole group can go to hell.

What is Rubio’s domestic policy? He doesn’t support the populist polices that are the foundation of MAGA that Vance supports. The fact that the Media and the Israel first influencers are pushing Rubio should tell you everything you need to know.

Is this the way we want to do this? I want candidates to run and I want to hear what they have to say. Trump will have had his time in the limelight by the election of 2028. I damn sure don't want a never go away Obama in Trump.

If the 2013 "Gang of Eight" immigration bill (Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act) had passed, it would have provided a 13-year pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants, significantly increased border security, mandated E-Verify for all employers, and overhauled legal immigration to be more merit-based.Key Outcomes of the Proposed Legislation:Pathway to Citizenship: Undocumented immigrants residing in the U.S. before Dec. 31, 2011, could gain Registered Provisional Immigrant (RPI) status, eventually leading to permanent residency and citizenship after fines, back taxes, and background checks.Border Security "Triggers": Citizenship pathways would only start after stringent border security, including 700 miles of fencing and doubling border patrol agents to roughly 40,000, were fully implemented.Mandatory E-Verify: The bill would have required all employers to use the E-Verify system to confirm employment authorization for new hires, aimed at reducing the hiring of undocumented workers.Legal Immigration Overhaul: The bill would have shifted toward a "merit-based" system, increasing H-1B visas for high-skilled workers, creating a new W-visa for lower-skilled workers, and eliminating the Diversity Visa Lottery.Economic & Fiscal Impact: The Congressional Budget Office estimated the bill would have reduced the federal deficit by \(\$197\) billion over 10 years, while the Social Security Administration estimated a \(\$276\) billion boost in revenue.Projected Criticisms and Challenges:Opponents argued the bill would have authorized "amnesty" for lawbreakers, overwhelmed administrative capacity, and potentially allowed for bureaucratic failure in securing the border, leading some to refer to it as an "immigration Obamacare".

I prefer Rubio but doesn't that basically torpedo Vance's political career if he gets passed over ?

If Lil Marco isn’t president I propose Vance take DeSantis and Lil Marco takes governor of Florida.

I think we all underestimated little Marco. The guy is absolutely brilliant and what a professional. And to think he was approved unanimously as the Secretary Of State. It’s no secret to Washington how good he is.
