Trump is shredding so much of the government or decentralizing people to other states, that Virginia will return to being a Republican state.

Why do people go out of their way to be negative on here?

I’m not a big fan of the Tkachuk family from a rival sports perspective, but I’ll be the first to admit that the Tkachuk‘s are American badasses.
If I find out that an Alabama Crimson Tide player or an Atlanta Falcons player is MAGA AF, then I have a completely different outlook on that player. That’s the game that really matters.

"You gave the fans one of the most riveting comebacks in NHL history, in any sport history," Trump said. "I don't know anything about a comeback, but they tell me it's very nice."
Tkachuk, the only U.S.-born player on the team this season who was part of the Cup run, thanked Trump for hosting the Panthers, adding that "being one of the few Americans who loves this country so much, this is such an incredible day for myself. You wake up every day really grateful to be an American, so thank you."

I watch every game, but it was the Rams NFCCG that I stopped being so invested and realized sports are just entertainment and not real life. It’s funny watching people worry and melt over the coaching search.

According to all of those, West Feliciana parish is just about the edge of the northern line. We went from 4-8 inches to now “up to 2 inches”
I’d have never believed we’d get a dusting while Acadiana gets half a foot
Being more north doesn’t mean shite this time. If EVERYONE is below freezing, then the only thing that matters is how much juice is in the atmosphere where you are. The moisture is coming from the Gulf of America, so it makes sense places south of West Feliciana get more snow. Once you’re teetering close to or above 32, then the snow totals decrease closer to the coast.

I don’t think Lake Pontchartrain can make lake effect snow. We don’t have the hills to create the orographic lift.

Forgive me.. I am a rookie... I like Accuweather but their ads are just freakin annoying...
Don’t you think the local meteorologist would be better? Wouldn’t they know the nuances of the area especially with all the water around?

I am seeing different predictions for the pipe busting weather... The Highs and Lows don't match the hourly forecast... Weather.com hourly is saying that the PB weather will be early Wednesday... Accuweather, so far is hourly forecasting PB temps to early Tuesday... What is it OT meteorologists?
Why would you ever use The Weather Channel as a source?

The local National Weather Service office for New Orleans/Baton Rouge is starting to get a handle on what they think is gonna happen.

With the completion of negotiations signified by the signing of the Algiers Accords on January 19, 1981, the hostages were released on January 20, 1981. That day, minutes after Ronald Reagan was sworn in as president and while he was giving his inaugural address, the 52 American hostages were released to U.S. personnel.

Although starting with a negative premise, is this the most positive thread about New Orleans in 5 years on this site?
New Orleans definitely has its warts, but for whatever reason, right or wrong, people on TD are overwhelmingly negative on any and everything, and I’m sure they are the same way around their family and friends. Life’s too short to be grumpy all the time.

Why are y’all assuming Greenland would be a state? It would more than likely be a territory with no votes in Congress.
