liberals that "own" Christians for believing that Jesus was white looking...

Help me understand how so many academics hold all 3 of these "truths" at the same time.
1. Jesus was not white. He would not have had fair skin and blue eyes.
2. Jesus was a Jew.
3. Jews are white and often have fair skin and light eyes.
Heck, even a lot of modern day residents of the Levant have blue eyes. What am I missing here? Where is this "fact" that Jesus was not white come from?

It’s hilarious that they think Christians (especially southern Christians) genuinely think Jesus was white or that they would be upset to learn he wasn’t.

What do Jews look like today? They don't exactly look like Cheech & Chong, and they sure as Hell don't look like LeBron James.
There have been a ton of people who claim to have had near death experiences, or nde's. Many of these accounts seem legit, and most actually claim that the Jesus they met not only looked white/Middle Eastern, but also had blue eyes.
Not that his eye color is important, but that's what most say.

You also believe a white depiction of Jesus is dumb?
Do you accept that he was Jewish and that Jews are descendants of the people that once occupied modern day Israel? If so, then how do you reconcile that with the fact that most Jews are white and European looking?

Well, some are, of course, but Judaism isn't just a race. It's also a religion. People of any race can convert, and they have over history.

I'm no expert on the history of the Jews, but it's my understanding that lots of European descended people converted to Judaism during the middle ages. They even had a name for them...the Ashkenazi Jews.
The Romans killed a great percentage of original Palestinian Jews during the battles that culminated in the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. People think that was a singular event, like 9/11, but it actually was a war that lasted three years.

It comes from a bunch of people that miss the point imo. If you believe that Jesus is the son of God, then his skin color doesn't amount to a hill of beans. What would stop a literal God from being any skin color he wanted, at any time?

I have never once thought of Jesus as white. I always pictured him as an olive tanned Mediterranean person with dark hair. I honestly don't have a problem with any culture making Jesus look themselves. Because Jesus has always been more than human. Heck,I have seen pictures of a Korean Jesus. So much hatred and jealousy towards the White race, when they allow other cultures lee-way.
