frick your couch.

It is completely possible that the photographer just missed the most crucial half second in the whole sequence.

It is completely possible that the news producer just missed the most crucial 10-15 seconds recording on his phone.

It is completely possible that the photographer just happened to catch BGM in four separate confrontations.

It is completely possible that Zack and Dolloff just happened to be in the vicinity of Keltner for an odd amount of time before the final confrontation.

It is completely possible that a dozen other coincidences are just coincidences.

But once the coincidences start lining up all in one direction, the odds of them all being coincidences starts diminishing.

Agreed. But don't most journos shoot RAW?

Hell, I am a hobbyist, and I shoot mostly RAW so I can use PS in post.

I CAN tether and shoot burst on Pentax. It just takes a long while for the save function to catch up. That may not work for a journo, because they are shooting FAR more images than I.

I wouldn’t. But you do you, man.

Video is long enough to see the draw well before the orange mist and the aiming immediately before the orange mist. He drew and began aiming well before Keltner engaged his spray. Murder.

Other observation: the dudes to the side (and pretty much everyone else) are completely oblivious.

This tells me there was no significant jawing or verbal altercation and also tells me there were no verbal orders prior to drawing/firing the weapon.

This kid is incredibly fricked.

My impression was that Dolloff’s left hand was extended toward the right side of Keltner’s body, not the left side of Keltner’s holstered weapon.

Now the person that enhanced those pics claimed that area was intentionally darkened. I do not know if that is the case or not but the claim was made.
Doubtful. Those areas are in the shade on bright very contrasty day. It’s great shadow detail to get what they got.

I can only speak for myself. I wouldn't.

e.g., I called the Chauvin-Floyd interaction "murder".
Retrospectively, with the possibility Floyd consumed a large dose of Fentanyl DURING the arrest, my conclusion was premature. Which actually serves further to counter your point.

That gif clearly shows that bayou bitches antifag buddy killed a man backing away while he should have been moving his client away from trouble as security should do.

What would your immediate response be if your security guard pulls a gun?

And then what’s your response if they shoot someone?

Is Zack Newman’s response discordant for anyone else?

What I think happened is the deceased went to confront the guy with the camera. Shooter tried to push him away, got bitch slapped and pulled his weapon. I don't think he was going for the mace or the gun. The deceased probably thought he was that is why the bitch slap was applied. Shooter pulled the trigger and deserves to be in jail.

The response of everyone involved with the setup is discordant.

The guy saying “he saved my life” actually hurts Dolloffs case significantly.

In Newman's video, it seems evident that something caused the camera to jostle and film downward at the point Dolloff physically interacted with Keltner. I presume it was Keltner bumping it, but it could have been Dolloff charging in, or Newman simply moving aside.
Yeah. I got all that. It’s all a reason to keep filming, not stop.

Agreed. Anyone with any sense has been saying this for two days.

I disagree. I have opened the file in my GIF editor, and I first see the gas/smoke at frame 9, and Dolloff is still raising his arms into his firing stance. It is possible that the gas was deployed one or two frames earlier, but initially blocked by Keltner's body. Dolloff does not level and aim the weapon until approximately frame 11 or 12. Presumably, Dolloff fires at about frame 12 (perhaps 1/3 second after the gas is released).
