Desantis is still unknown . If you don’t pay attention to politics , you would not know who Desantis was . Only reason we do is because we pay attention . He simply does not have the name recognition at this point .

I would think a so called astute observer would not trust these polls. Too early.
This is based purely on name recognition. 1/2 of the country has NO CLUE who Ron DeSantis is. Wait until DeSantis actually enters the race. Wait until DeSantis and Trump actually debate. Then start looking at the polls.
If you want info to a betting site. PredictIt now has DeSantis comfortably ahead of both Harris and Biden. He is also neck and neck with Trump for the GOP nomination. Pretty good for a guy who is not running.
