Trump isn't the runaway favorite. He is basically tied with DeSantis on PredictIt, which as of now, is the best indicator.
And who can forget the Tigerdroppings Trump/DeSantis straw poll taken in January 2022.

The Poli board here on Tigerdroppings is made up of mainly Southern conservative voters. Voters who know who DeSantis is. The fact that they prefer DeSantis almost 3 to 1 over Trump should be telling. I hope one day you can figure it out too.

Think of the MAGA voting bloc losses if he were to go down that ugly and take no prisoners battle with Trump. Folks just aren’t thinking it through.

I am Team Ron because I think he would make better personnel decisions and not commit some of the unforced errors that Trump does. I also think he can capture some votes from women who have TDS. But, cajunangelle is right that one major concern about Ron is his ability to pull blue collar workers in the midwest. Also, he may be a chamber or commerce/neocon stooge.

Trump is most definitely the runaway favorite, and that’s not surprising about that straw poll because this home of bad takes. And that’s coming from someone on your same side in theory. I’m not worried because Desantis is on top of it even if so many of his supporters aren’t.

Pure propaganda bs. The ‘polls’ had Trump losing in ‘20, and honest folk know that it was a massive Trump win. It’s a setup to maintain narrative support. This place is on the path to dysfunction and collapse. The foolish Dems think they can control the (Saul Alinsky) “engineered collapse “/crisis but I doubt that. They have divided the folk to a point of hatred that it’s likely to be a zombie apocalypse instead of a Government to the rescue scenario.

She’s linked to Biden forever. Both sides of the aisle think this presidency could be a huge train wreck for the Democratic Party for years. Because she is linked to Biden her political career will be over until she steps into the spotlight and becomes the face of this presidency. Harris will have to take a much bigger role until he steps down. He will step down at some point so she can be the first female President.
This will probably happen when Biden’s approval numbers drop below 70% with Democrats and 10% with Republicans.
That’s about the only thing that can save her political career.

Desantis is in a big political election cycle now and hopefully he destroys the democrat (praying crist gets his balls chopped off, the jackass)
I dont think he would run and then start an immediate run for the white house...but thats just me. I think he is in touch with Trump's campaign and knowns what is going on.
