Facial recognition, I’d have a problem with that. I don’t think the government needs to be identifying and tracking people everywhere they go.
Vehicle recognition at major intersections, I have zero problems with it.
If a vehicle is connected to a murder, kidnapping, carjacking, trafficking, stolen vehicle, or another serious crime, I want law enforcement to have the ability to locate that vehicle and potentially get someone dangerous off the street.

The vehicle was wanted for questioning in connection with a MURDER.
I don’t care if guns were drawn. If a vehicle connected to a homicide is located, a felony stop is exactly what I would expect law enforcement to do. That’s not “harassment.” That’s officers taking a potentially dangerous situation seriously and protecting themselves and the public. And as far as Flock cameras go, I have ZERO problem with them.
These cameras can help law enforcement locate vehicles connected to murders, carjackings, armed robberies, kidnappings, human trafficking, stolen vehicles, and other serious crimes. If a camera helps identify and locate a vehicle connected to a violent crime, I want law enforcement to have that tool.If a Flock camera helps get a murderer, carjacker, trafficker, or other violent criminal off the street, I’m all for it.

If you’re worried about the technology, ask for transparency and accountability. But don’t pretend that locating a vehicle connected to a murder is somehow the problem.
