Though is there a retirement date yet? If before switch then this would be the case. After next Jan then it would be good.

End of the SCOTUS term in June, or end of 2022? Stepping down in June/July would be more consistent with prior retirements and allow time to appoint/confirm a replacement before the next session starts in October.
