Biden promised to seat a Black Female Ho Justice
Short list indeed .....but maybe not...
Harris has been a disaster. What better way to get her out of his bald head, but to nominate her? Other than she's never been a judge. Mitt Romney will leap for joy to support her. The vote will not be 50/50 because of Romney and few others .....so the decision will come down to ....Who steps in as VP? His choice for VP not voted on by the Senate.
Don't think DC has any Golden Corrals near by.

The surest sign yet they know Democrats are losing control in November.

Ploy to motivate people to get to the polls.

Are they going to try to hurry up and get a replacement in before the Mid Term winners are sworn in?

Yeah, because Manchin and Sinema may not go along with some more radical choices, especially if it’s Garland or Kamala.

I don't get it. Will a Republican Senate even take up any nominee that Biden puts up? I bet McConnell will drag it out till the 2024 elections.
They won't. That's what I'm saying. The dems are trending in the wrong direction right now and they wont have the votes to push a nominee through unless they put it in the hands of Hillary Clinton's assassination squad.

I'm sure they are forcing him out so they don't end up with another RBG situation if Republican's take the Senate
End of year might be too late for that with the next class coming in less than a few weeks after. He should retire now if he wants Democrats to rubber stamp his replacement.
I'm honestly not sure they could muster the votes in the senate now for any candidate. They'd have to have the vote after the mid terms but before the new class took office. If they do it now, it will cost them a couple of seats.

Which can be OK. There are plenty of qualified Black women
That's not really true. Back when Biden promised to appoint a black woman with his first pick some people dug into likely candidates who fit the traditional "qualified" resume (young, Ivy League grad, prestigious clerkship, Appellate Court experience and notable published opinions or academic scholarship) and there were very few candidates.
Of course Biden can buck tradition and appoint a non-traditional candidate but that opens the door to future Republicans being able to nominate the ideologue of their choice as well.
Democrats like the lofty and rigid standards for Federal Courts because they believe (with valid reason) that Conservative candidates are more likely to move to the center to appease their Harvard and DC social circles, whereas some baw who graduated from the Univ of Kentucky, sits on the Kentucky Supreme Court and still lives in the Kentucky house he grew up in is more likely to arrive on the Court guns a blazin with an f-u if you don't like my vote attitude.

I have a prediction on who will NOT replace him: a white person.

It sends a formal message.
Two fake impeachments yielded zero significance save for trashing his image.
Which did hurt him at the polls.
It all adds up.

No one can step in as VP. A replacement would have to be appointed and confirmed by a majority vote of both Senate and House.

They won't.
They will. But if the nominee is unacceptable to the GOP in this 2022+ hypothetical case they would allow the vote and failure of the nominee. Rinse and repeat.

Let’s keep this in mind: Susan Collins has voted in support of every single Democrat nominee. I’m more worried about her than Manchin or Sinema, especially since her state is more blue leaning than Arizona or West Virginia.

Another reason they were so desperate to steal the election. They just couldn't allow Drumpf to pick any more justices.

The good news is they just have a spare one lying around the White House doing nothing. I wouldn’t be shocked if they nominate Kamala just to get rid of her. People have been making jokes for years that they’d do the same to Ted Cruz just to get rid of him.

It will end up being a pink haired liberal atheist she/him/them non-binary white person who has been indoctrinated to believe in communism & that all white people are racist bigots.

Interesting tidbit on the two black women (Biden swore to nominate a black woman) that are getting the most press to replace Breyer -- Katanji Brown Jackson and Leondra Kruger -- They have something in common.
See if you can figure it out.
Here are their husbands.....
Dr. Patrick Jackson
Brian Hauck
That's right!!!!!
Both of their husbands wear glasses!
