To reiterate, Barnes is salty AF, but that doesn't make him wrong on substance.

Seems like they're staying quiet so as to not annoy the judge. Really bad decision, imo, as the prosecution has seemingly pushed matters to the limit many times over, and then after some bloviating, the judge does absolutely nothing.

If it's a mistrial without prejudices, Rittenhouse will be suing them for the MULTIPLE instances of the DA's office violating Rittenhouse's civil and constitutional rights. The case would then probably be reassigned to the state's AG or another DA's office. I can't imagine another DA's office filing charges after the sh!tshow these ADA put on.
This is obviously the current defense dice roll here.

I'm terrible with names, is Barnes the judge?

Oh they ordered pizza instead of sandwiches for lunch? THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T PICK THE RIGHT JURY.
Except for fried cheese curds, those are pretty good.

If I'm reading between the lines listening to the judge, it sounds like he's teeing the situation up that it's either an innocent verdict, or it'll be a mistrial.

Barnes is a former member of the defense who is sometimes on the Rekieta chat.

Kyle's defense seems to be making some very basic errors, to the significant detriment of their client.
Luckily for Rittenhouse, the prosecutors are even worse.

The beer is pretty damned good. That counts for a lot in my book.

and the judge is like 'we'll cross that bridge should we get there'
The way I took the judge's remarks was that they would bring the jury into the court room, clear everyone else out, and let them watch the video as much as they wanted.

Oh yeah now I know who you're talking about. He's been nice to the defense when they basically fricked him over.
I, for the life of me, don't understand why Richard's became the point man and main litigation person.

Not lately. He's 100% pro Kyle, but he has roasted the defense attorneys lately.

Absolutely. This is a political trial
Yep. The left has so much riding on this trial. They want a case that warns the American public that you can't defend yourself, you can't defend your property, you must allow these thugs to burn down your businesses, and you can't be armed under any circumstance.

Raises questions. It is not a simple program to use. It de facto alters things.
Bad look across the board.

He's likely super egotistical, too. You have to remember most lawyers thought about being some form of writer and settled on being a lawyer, so they all think they are the most creative at communicating and structuring arguments.

Chirafisi has impressed me FAR more than Richards.

Meh. I thought most lawyers just didn't have the grades for med school and still wanted to make some money.
