I’m no lawyer but this seems so odd. The judge is leaving all of this in the hands of the jury. Not ruling on mistrial until forced. If guilty, is he really going to mistrial this? Seems out of character.

Jury selecation is why we're here. It's going to a mistrial by the jury.

And mistrials just take as long as they take. This asking for videos makes me believe there a couple of holdouts (either way) on a compromise verdict, probably one of the bullshite lesser included.

After seeing the angle where Huber pulled on the barrel of Kyle's gun the way he did - if Kyle's finger was on the trigger at that moment, I don't know if Kyle intentionally shot Huber.. can't remember the testimony about that situation

Same here = the video seems to show huber pulling on the barrel himself.

So, Huber shot himself? Isn't suicide technically illegal? Shouldn't Kyle pull a Randy McMichael, hustle over as Huber bled out, and enact a citizens arrest?

If Anna TSWG DM'd Rekeita that the prosecution is lying about the video compression, you'd think that's something even the defense would consider looking into.

Video people / experts who routinely work with this stuff know.

Now you have 2-5 on the jury that are hold outs for guilty on something. Jury selecation is why we're here. It's going to a mistrial by the jury.
You sure it is not just one holding out for not guilty? If the majority of us were on the jury, we would say frick ya'll to the others until we are dismissed

Do you think that the DA will give the ADA prosecutors the money to go after a second bite at the apple, anyway?

I think they’ll only charge him with Rosenbaum. They’ve been focusing on that one and that’s the only one with any shot at getting a conviction.

The highly credible source that Twitter is, says there are 2 guilty holdouts. 10 innocents. Take that for what it’s worth.

ETA the two holdouts are directly citing public backlash as their reason for holding out which is a huge problem.

I wonder if the judge knows there's like 2 guilty holdouts and he's trying to just will them to an innocent verdict to save his bacon.

Several courts have decided at one time or another that, although not punishable, suicide was a crime.

I think you go to casket jail if you are convicted of suicide.
